    Matthew Tipton's side were just more clinical, exploiting space behind the Glenavon defence to chalk up a memorable win.

    Glenavon had pushed up in search of the equaliser and the visitors broke upfield with Burns smashing into the back from 16 yards.

    Well, that was an amazing goal-line clearance from Greg Hall to deny Glenavon an equaliser.

    Danny Purkis is four yards out and heads towards goal but Hall is perfectly place on the goal-line to head clear.

    That could be a big moment in the game and it's followed by Ports keeper Ben Pierce tipping over to kept out Peter Campbell's powerful free-kick.

    It's been a cracking derby so far and we've 15 minutes left in Lurgan.

    Glenavon are back in it thanks to a close-range finish from Peter Campbell after 54 minutes.

    Conor McCloskey slids the perfect cross along the goalmouth and Campbell runs in to score at the backpost for his first Lurgan Blues goal.

    The visitors go close to the third as Lee Bonis connects with a cutback and see his fizzing shot saved by James Taylor.

    Stephen Murray bagged both goals against his former club in a display of clinical finishing while Glenavon have huffed and puffed without creating clear-cut chances.

    The former Glenavon striker simply passed the ball beyond keeper James Taylor and into the net from 20 yards.

    Portadown's goal took the momentum away from the hosts and it's now a pretty even affair with both sides carrying a threat.
