  1. Goodnight

That's the end of this live page now, thanks for joining us and getting involved in the debate.

Come back tomorrow for day one million of consecutive Premier League action.

  2. Post update

Only relegated Norwich City (14) have lost more Premier League games in 2020 than Crystal Palace (13).

  3. Post update

Each of Wolves’ last nine Premier League victories have come without conceding a goal.

  4. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Luka Milivojevic's red card was his first in league competition since February 2016 for Olympiakos vs AEK Athens. This was his 145th league game since then.

  5. 'Red card is worst part of evening'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson to BBC Sport: "Wolves started very well, we know what quality they have. The first 20 minutes was a very good spell for them and made life difficult for us. I thought we overcame it and thought the longer the game went on the stronger we became."

On Luka Milivojevic's red card: "My view is it's not a sending off and I've told (referee) Martin Atkinson that. He thinks there was a reason to give a red card but I've seen it as well and I certainly don't agree with that. It was a fair challenge and there was no intent to contact Joao Moutinho at all.

"I'm very disappointed with that one. It's the worst part of the evening in a way. There would have been positives to take, but to lose a player for three games for a challenge I didn't even consider a foul will be very hard to take."

  6. 'We haven't the edge of Molineux'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo to BBC Sport: "I think we were good but we should play better. We started well. We had a good team in front of us. At the end of the first half we slowed down our pressure and Palace had chances.

"Second half we adjusted and didn't concede too many chances and had our chances where we should do better.

"For Rayan Ait Nouri I am really pleased because it is the first game and what a better start can he have? He is 19 with a lot of things to improve. He has to get so many things on board and that's the work.

On moving into the top three: "It's all about the performance, the table is not important. The work is important. Playing without fans requires a lot of focus, we haven't the edge of Molineux."

  7. 'I don't think it was a red card'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson to BT Sport: “You’re always disappointed when you play and lose.

“Wolves started the game strongly and we didn’t. As a result they had a 2-0 lead. After that we played more than evenly with them. But it wasn’t possible for us to get back in the game.

“I’m not disappointed with how the players played for most of the game. But I’m disappointed with that opening 20-minute spell.

“I spoke to the referee about the red card [to Luka Milivojevic]. I made my views clear. I don’t think it was a red card. It was a fair challenge.”

  8. Post update

Wolves will end the day in third place, their highest position this far into a top-flight season since October 1979 (when they were third after 10 matches).

That year they went on to finish sixth and win the League Cup.

  9. 'To have goals all over the team is important'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo to BT Sport: “We started really well. In the second half we started slowly and let Palace have the ball. We were not comfortable but when we adjusted we started doing better. We had chances to score another.

"Rayan Ait Nouri played good. He has things to improve on. I was smiling because football is like this, it’s your first game and you score.

"To have goals all over the team is important. It’s what you need.

"The idea is to sustain [their form]. Every game in the Premier League is very tough."

  10. 'We are trying to be perfect'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves' Daniel Podence on fellow goalscorer Rayan Ait Nouri: "He has a great left foot. He has a lot of quality. He showed everyone what he can do. We are here to help him."

On going level on points at the top: "We play game by game. We are improving since the first game. We had a difficult pre-season. We can do better and we are trying to be perfect."

  11. 'We never put targets on'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves captain Conor Coady on Rayan Ait Nouri's debut perormance: "He's sharp in training, turns you inside out and has bags of tricks. It's important we help him settle in as quickly as possible."

On Wolves' strong start to season: "We never put targets on where we want to go because you create unwanted pressure. We've got a long week now, we'll enjoy the rest."

  12. 'Good to play on Friday and win'

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves captain Conor Coady to BT Sport: "It's massive for us. Huge. We always want to improve.

"We dominated large spells and then we defended as a team. It's good to play on a Friday and get a win.

"Palace are always dangerous. They have fantastic players going forward."

  13. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Since Roy Hodgson’s first game in charge of Crystal Palace in September 2017, the Eagles have failed to score in 39 Premier League matches, with only rivals Brighton (40) drawing a blank on more occasions.

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves are up to third in the Premier League.

    Bostin' as the locals say.

  15. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Almost genius from Adama Traore. He goes down after being tackled (fairly) and as he's slipping onto the ground he hooks a shot which goes just wide of the far post.

  16. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves still press for a third but Vicente Guaita pounces on the ball before Rayan Ait Nouri's cross can find fellow teenager Fabio Silva.

  17. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Think we must already be into injury time but I didn't see a board.

  18. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

We're probably going to have a big chunk of injury time.

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves squeeze in a final change as record signing Fabio Silva replaces Raul Jimenez, whose drought v Palace continues.

  20. Post update

    Wolves 2-0 Crystal Palace

    Michael Brown

Former Sheff Utd and Spurs midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

As a player I've got myself caught in many situations in bad tackles. Milivojevic doesn't even think about the player. He's thinking about pushing the ball past the opponent. Everyone will say he's endangering the opponent. The VAR slow-mo makes it look so much worse.
