  1. Good night and good luck

That's all from the action at Wembley.

We've had clangers, sackings, VAR and despair, just another Sunday.

Catch up on anything you may have missed here and join us for three more Premier League games on Monday.

  2. 'De Gea should save that 100 times out of 100'

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to BBC Sport: "Of course coming in at half time with the goal after that long lay off was a big blow for us. We lost concentation and that was disappointing.

"Chelsea had an extra 48 hours, that's just a fact but it's no excuse, I can't use excuses. It is what it is, we would rather have the semi to play than not, I won't make a fuss out of that.

    "You always question your decisions.

"I can't speak for David de Gea's confidence but he is mentally very strong. He knows he should save that one 100 times out of 100 but that's football for you. I made the decison to play him and mentally he was ready for it.

"You know Olivier Giroud's movement you know he goes to the near post and we should defend that better. We are a little too late in those situations and the second goal was very avoidable.

"Eric Bailly is hopefully fine, he had a cut on his head but hopefully he will be fine.

"There is no time to feel sorry for ourselves, we have two games this week and then the Europa League. We will get our heads ready and our legs ready and go again."

Majestic Swan: Some plastic United fans forget the INCREDIBLE service of De Gea and are quick to blame. As much as I like Solskjaer, he is at fault here with poor management. De Gea is suffering with no confidence and needs to be dropped to reflect. Cruel to be kind!

Khan Jr: Horrible that the 48 hours extra rest could not be mentioned once after the game by the so called experts. The 2 days rest is where the game was lost for Man Utd and they looked leggy. Two evenly matched teams should've had the same amount of rest days.

  5. Post update

BBC One has gone to the Antiques but we'll being you any Manchester United reaction as soon as we see some.

  6. 'Two young managers in the FA Cup final'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Alan Shearer

Former Newcastle captain on BBC One

It will be two young managers in the FA Cup final. I was really impressed in what Arsenal did yesterday, in terms of their defending.

They have shown encouraging signs in that system in the last two games.

  7. 'They should take confidence from that'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard: "I can't ask for any more from my players than that. The work ethic and the level of performance. We were on top and when they changed their system we were even better. I am very proud of that performance.

"Where we are at it is going to happen that we have some bad displays like against Sheffield United. We have done a lot of work in the last few days and the players deserve a huge amount of credit.

"They should take confidence form that display. We have leaders, you can't compare across eras but we have leaders in the team. It was a performance full of character and personality.

"We have finals ahead, Two in the league and then Arsenal. We want to win things. Three games won't define the progress we have made but we are at the business end."

  8. 'A massive final for us'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

Chelsea goalscorer Mason Mount to BBC Sport: "You always want to turn up in big games and I thought we did that today. We came in with extra motivation and it will be a massive final for us - we want to win trophies."

On his goal: "I tried to get it on target, anything can happen. It was maybe a bit fortunate to see it go in, it gave us room to express ourselves a bit more.

"I always want to score goals and create assists - it hasn't happened for a while but you're always looking to affect the game in different areas."

On two games left in race for Champions League: "The gaffer just said we've got two massive finals before we're here again. We need that mindset to try and secure the top four."

Sho: Can take losing a cup semi but error after error leading to all their goals. De Gea has to go in the summer simple. But apart from Bruno everyone was horrific. Maguire once again terrible. Just didn't turn up at all today

Donald: Keep Bruno Fernandes quiet and you have Man United where you want them

  10. 'That time has come'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Alan Shearer

Former Newcastle captain on BBC One

Video caption: Giroud gives Chelsea FA Cup lead with deft touch finish

If the goalkeeper makes one mistake, or possibly two, you think you should stick with him. But it keeps happening.

I think you only bring Dean Henderson back to Manchester United as the number one, or you keep him where he is to keep gaining experience. I think that time time has come.

  11. 'He gambled'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Ashley Cole

Former Chelsea and England defender on BBC One

Mason Mount has got that energy and enthusiasm to get at defenders. He gambled for his goal and Manchester United will be disappointed they didn't stop that.

  12. 'De Gea is unrecognisable'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Phil Neville

England Women manager on BBC Match of the Day

Video caption: 'Absolute howler' from De Gea gifts Chelsea second goal

He's unrecognisable from the keeper who won four player of the year awards. A confident, assured David de Gea saves all three goals today.

I would be worried, his inconsistency is costing United games. I wouldn't leave him out yet, his credentials are up there with the best in the world.

  13. Bruno Fernandes scores from the penalty spot for Man Utd

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

Video caption: Bruno Fernandes scores from the penalty spot for Man Utd

    A consolation of sorts.

  14. 'I'd love to win another one'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Video content

Video caption: Giroud gives Chelsea FA Cup lead with deft touch finish

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud: "I said to the boys I would love to win another one, it would be my fifth FA Cup and we are in another final. A big game against Arsenal which will be so special for me personally. We played very well and we want to finish in the top three in the Premier League now.

"We played three at the back, it's been a while since we did but we started very well. We had them under pressure and they didn't create much. We dominated the game."

  15. 'Chelsea pressed with intensity'

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

    Ashley Cole

Former Chelsea and England defender on BBC One

I think Chelsea worked harder than Man Utd all over the pitch. They pressed with intensity and I think Mason Mount was the man of the match.

  16. Post update

    Phil Neville

England Women manager on BBC Match of the Day

Manchester United were poor, they didn't have a player on the pitch who played well.

They looked tired, they looked sluggish. Ole picked the wrong team and the wrong system.

  17. Post update

'The Antiques Roadshow follows this programme at about 8:30.'

    What an announcement.

  18. Post update

Chelsea lock it up, they are deserved winners at an empty Wembley...

  19. FULL-TIME

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

  20. CLOSE!

    Manchester United 1-3 Chelsea

It's almost an outrageous fourth for Chelsea! Tammy Abraham finds Callum Hudson-Odoi on the right with a clever reverse pass and the winger heads off into the area. He twists and turns, puts a tired defender on his back and then shoots form a tight angle. He blazes it over, but he had every right to have a go there.
