  1. On to the weekend...

This weekend, it's Rangers' turn to play first as Steven Gerrard's men take on Aberdeen at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.

Celtic go to Hamilton on Sunday.

Good night - and thanks for your company.

    Scottish Premiership
  2. Deadline day is looming

St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright said he's hopeful of bringing in another "one or two" players before Friday's transfer deadline.

Rangers might be on the look out for a new forward.

Other clubs will no doubt be working round the clock to bring in reinforcements.

BBC Sportsound will be running a 'Through the Window' special to cover all the comings and goings and we'll provide text updates on all the moves and wild rumours.

  3. Saints scuppered by 'shocking start'

    Ft: St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright bemoans a "shocking start" to the game, telling BT Sport: "We looked frightened, didn't make tackles, didn't stop crosses.

"Celtic were excellent but, from my point of view, there were mistakes, players not doing their jobs.

"But we didn't give up, we kept going in the second half, pressed them higher and worked the keeper, and that's a positive."

  4. 'Some of our attacking play was outstanding'

    FT: St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Celtic manager Neil Lennon is a happy man as he tells BBC Sportsound that the first-half display was "right up there with the best".

"Some of our attacking play was outstanding," he says. "I thought James Forrest was back to his best and Greg Taylor was fantastic but it's difficult to pick out individuals.

"It was an all-round great team performance. As a manager, I can't ask for any more.

"Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths have a natural understanding. They are two very intelligent strikers. I really enjoyed the link up for the first goal.

"We've had a raft of injuries over the last few weeks,so I'm hoping Mikey Johnston is not added to that list."

  5. Deadly Defoe

    FT: Rangers 2-0 Ross County

  6. Griffiths 'still has a bit to go'

    FT: St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

One of Celtic goalscorers, Leigh Griffiths, is pretty subdued in his BT Sport interview, saying he's not yet reached peak fitness and form after a lengthy absence.

"I've still got a bit to go but I'm happy as long as I can contribute to the team," he explains.

"I'm very happy here. I'm back in the team and I hope to stay there."

  7. Will Rangers look to recruit?

    FT: Rangers 2-0 Ross County

Will that injury to Jermain Defoe force Rangers into the transfer market before Friday's midnight deadline?

If the little striker is out for a while, that doesn't leave much in the way of cover for star man Alfredo Morelos.

  8. FULL-TIME Rangers 2-0 Ross County

Rangers stroll to a comfortable home win.

Jermain Defoe was the star of the show after scoring just before the break and then setting up Scott Arfield to make it two just a few minutes in to the second half.

But an injury forced the veteran striker off via a stretcher midway through the second half, although that blow was softened by the reappearance of top scorer Alfredo Morelos.

  9. FULL-TIME St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

A devastating opening from Celtic made sure the points were wrapped up safely long before half time.

The second half was a bit of a bore, with St Johnstone giving a decent account of themselves.

Celtic maintain their five-point advantage at the top.

  10. CLOSE!

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

So nearly a goal for St Johnstone as a Liam Gordon header is cleared off the line by Patryk Klimala.

  11. Post update

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Celtic will finish the game with 10 men as substitute Mikey Johnston has to hobble off.

  12. 'It's easy to sink' against dominant Celtic

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

    Billy Dodds

    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

Quote Message: A good response from St Johnstone, you've got to give them credit as you could easy sink and get beaten four, five, six-nil but that's not been the case
  13. CLOSE!

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Celtic's best chance of the second half. A rapid counter-attack ends with James Forrest feeding Greg Taylor near the edge of the Saints' penalty area. The former Killie man drills in a low, angled shot that fizzes just wide, with Patryk Klimala very close to getting a touch.

  14. Post update

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Saints midfielder David Wotherspoon is not too far away with an ambitious, dipping effort from distance. Can the hosts find a consolation goal in the final five minutes or so?

  15. Post update

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Mikey Johnston is able to carry on and Patryk Klimala does finally enter the fray for Celtic. The St Johnstone fans behind the dugouts are not happy with the delay. Are they really grumbling about time-wasting?

  16. Post update

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Odsonne Edouard is being withdrawn by Celtic, with Patryk Klimala ready to come on. But wait a minute, Mikey Johnston has gone down with a problem and that change is on hold.

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

Fraser Forster hasn't had much to do this evening but the Celtic goalie is sharp enough to push away a curling shot from David Wotherspoon that was heading for the bottom corner of his net.

  18. Post update

    Rangers 2-0 Ross County

Rangers make their third and final substitution and it's a relatively unlikely face that enters the stage. Jordan Jones, who has made just one appearance for Steven Gerrard's side since October, comes on for Steven Davis.

The winger has been linked with a move away this month.

  19. Celtic 'knocking the ball about' now

    St Johnstone 0-3 Celtic

    Pat Bonner

Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: It was almost inevitable that the pace would go out of the game. Celtic are just trying to keep the ball by knocking it about.
