  1. Over and out

    Saturday's EFL action

    Cardiff celebrate

    An eight-goal thriller, a first-half hat-trick and a three-goal turnaround.

It could only be the Championship.

West Brom started the week top of the tree and end it there, but it's been some ride along the way.

Thank you for joining us and we'll be back on Friday as Middlesbrough host Stoke in a battle at the bottom.

  2. League Two full-time headlines

    • Leaders Swindon makes it seven wins in a row with 2-0 victory over Oldham
    • Second-placed Exeter edge to victory at Salford
    • Bottom side Morecambe lose 3-0 at Plymouth
    • Eight games end in draws
  3. League One full-time headlines

    MK Dons
    • Leaders Wycombe move seven points clear at top with victory over Burton
    • Second-placed Ipswich lose at home to Bristol Rovers
    • MK Dons pick up first league win since 14 September with 1-0 victory over Oxford United
    • Southend still searching for first home win of season after 2-2 draw against Rotherham
  4. Championship full-time headlines

    Barnsley celebrate
    • Leeds blow a three-goal lead at home to 10-man Cardiff to draw 3-3 and miss the chance to return to the top.
    • Conor Chaplin scores a hat-trick as bottom side Barnsley beat QPR 5-3.
    • A first-half Jordan Rhodes treble sees Sheffield Wednesday thrash Nottingham Forest 4-0 at the City Ground.
    • Two Andre Ayew goals help Swansea win 3-1 against nine-man Middlesbrough.
    • Jayden Stockley's late goal sees Preston beat Luton 2-1 to go third.
    • Fulham fall to a third defeat in a row at Brentford, who rise up to fourth in the table.
  5. Big win for Barnsley

    FT: Barnsley 5-3 QPR

The Tykes close the gap to safety to just four points following that thriller at Oakwell.

Stoke and Reading played out a goalless draw, with a total of zero shots on target, while Wigan's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield does little to help either.

    Championship bottom six
  6. Baggies finish on top

It's all change at the top of the Championship.

West Brom move above Leeds following their 3-2 lunchtime win at Birmingham, while the Whites threw away a three-goal lead against Cardiff.

Preston, Brentford and Sheffield Wednesday are also on the move following victories.

    Championship top six

    Preston 2-1 Luton

Jayden Stockley's winner late on ensured all three points after goals from Paul Gallagher and James Collins in the first-half.

That's two wins in a row for Preston who move to third in the Championship while Luton remain just above the relegation zone.

    Barnsley 5-3 QPR

Barnsley fans will be relieved to hear this eight-goal thriller is over and they have the points!

Conor Chaplin starred with a hat-trick.

    They remain bottom, though.

    Conor Chaplin
  9. GOAL: Barnsley 5-3 QPR

    Ilias Chair (90+4 mins)

QPR get a last-minute consolation through Ilias Chair - but it'll be no more than that.

    Nottingham Forest 0-4 Sheffield Wednesday

A superb Jordan Rhodes first-half hat-trick sent Sheffield Wednesday on the way to three points, Steven Fletcher added insult to injury with the fourth just before the half-time whistle.

Nottingham Forest drop out of the play-off places into eighth after this thumping while the Owls move up to fifth.

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Fulham trailed for much of the game to Bryan Mbeumo's goal but could only manage two shots on target.

Food for thought for Scott Parker - who have lost three in a row and slip to sixth, below victors Brentford.

    Leeds 3-3 Cardiff

It's all over at Elland Road!

Leeds look certainties to regain top spot as they led 3-0 until the hour mark, but Lee Tomlin, Sean Morrison and Robert Glatzel all scored to rescue 10-man Cardiff a draw.

What a game - West Brom are two points clear in first.

    Bristol City 0-2 Blackburn

Blackburn's ascent up the table continues!

Goals in each half from Bradley Johnson and Adam Armstrong give Rovers their fifth win in six games.

For Bristol City, it completes a nightmare week with two home defeats. They drop out of the play-offs.

    Bristol City

    Leeds 3-3 Cardiff

Neil Etheridge somehow denies Leeds sub Eddie Nketiah, whose effort seemed destined for the net!

It was a brillaint save from his header and Ben White can't react quickly enough to convert the rebound.

    What an escape for Cardiff.

    Swansea 3-1 Middlesbrough

Two goals from the excellent Andre Ayew - who looks too good for the Championship - give Swansea a long-awaited victory.

Middlesbrough had Marcus Browne and Paddy McNair sent off in the second half.

    Stoke 0-0 Reading

No shots on target for either side at the bet365 Stadium.

    Derby 0-1 Millwall

Tom Bradshaw's goal was enough for Millwall to secure all three points at Pride Park.

That's back to back wins for Gary Rowatt's side.

    Wigan 1-1 Huddersfield

Wigan and Huddersfield share the spoils at the DW Stadium as the Latics once again fail to hold onto a lead.

Karlan Grant cancels out Josh Windass' first-half goal, leaving both sides in the bottom six.

    Brentford 1-0 Fulham

Brentford have been well on top but go into three minutes of stoppage time with only a slender advantage over Fulham.

Will they rue all those misses?

    Leeds 3-3 Cardiff

Four minutes added on at Elland Road.

Is there to be one last sting in the tail?
