After Glentoran have the better of the early exchanges, Joe Gormley gives Cliftonville a 17th-minute lead at Solitude as he runs on to a free-kick from Garry Breen from the edge of the Reds' penalty area and loops a superb finish over Elliott Morris.
Route one yes but tremendous execution from the ace marksman. Breen goes close to doubling the Reds lead moments later as his header is cleared off the Glens line by a combination of Morris and Patrick McClean.
Jamie Harney heads a Conor McDermott free-kick against the Glens crossbar on 38 minutes. Cliftonville remain 1-0 up at the break.
Glentoran spurn two good chances to grab the equaliser as John Herron fails to keep his shot down after a defensive error from Harney before Darren Murray blasts over after escaping the Reds backline.
Cliftonville book their spot in the final after a 1-0 win over Glentoran, with Gormley's first-half strike proving the difference between the two sides on a lively night inside Solitude.
