  8. FULL-TIME St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

What a priceless point that may prove to be for nine-man St Johnstone. Bottom of the table, they cancelled out Sam Cosgrove's stunning opener through Matty Kennedy's cool finish.

However, cool heads were in short supply as Murray Davidson and Callum Hendry both saw red for late tackles.

  9. CLOSE!

    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

Sam Cosgrove sees his goalbound effort parried by Zander Clark, then Shay Logan fires a shot inches wide.

Dons boss Derek McInnes has his head in his hands.

  10. St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

Niall McGinn is over a free-kick. He gets it up and over the St Johnstone wall but goalkeeper Zander Clark is there to gather.

Four minutes of added time at McDiarmid Park.

  12. 'Aberdeen need to speed it up'

    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Quote Message: Aberdeen have got to speed it up. It's too cool and too causal. They need to play the ball with more pace

A late corner for the Dons... cleared by St Johnstone!

Then Zander Clark produces a brilliant save to tip away Lewis Ferguson's thunderous drive.

    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Quote Message: It's just two banks of four from St Johnstone now. That penalty box is going to be battered from Aberdeen. Tommy Wright will need bravery and commitment from his players
  16. 'Saints implode'

    St Jonstone 1-1 Aberdeen

    Tyrone Smith

    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

A strange one this, Saints worked so hard to get in to the game, they manage that, then implode with two straight red cards.

If they go on and lose this game they will only have themselves to blame.

  17. Can Aberdeen profit?

    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

Will Aberdeen make nine-man St Johnstone pay for their indiscipline? We've got 10 minutes plus added time remaining in Perth.

    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Quote Message: You cannot fly into a challenge like that. Callum Hendry has lost it. The referee is left with no option whatsoever. They've went from getting back into the game to potentially throwing it away

    St Johnstone 1-1 Aberdeen

St Johnstone are down to nine men as substitute Callum Hendry is sent off for a late, late sliding tackle on Lewis Ferguson.

The challenge sparks a melee and referee Kevin Clancy brandishes the red before restoring calm.
