  1. Good night!

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

Well, that was tremendous fun. Despite notable injuries and a performance that never really reached top gear, Scotland walked to another comfortable victory in their quest to qualify for the 2021 European Championships with five superb goals. You can read our full report of tonight's match right here.

The next hurdle for Shelley Kerr's side comes in the form of an away trip to Cyprus in April next year. We'll see you then.

  2. 'To score five and not concede any is just incredible' - Kerr

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

Aside from the important three points, head coach Shelley Kerr was keen to underline how proud she was to see her side score 13 goals in their first two qualifying games without conceding a single one in response.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, he said: "A big thing for us in the last campaign was that we did concede goals. We wanted to try and eradicate that from our game, and the squad have been really switched on to it.

"They've done really well. All we were focusing on was three points, but to score five goals and not concede any is just incredible."

  3. 'Mitchell is a natural born winner' - Kerr

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

A large proportion of Scotland's attacking play came down both of Albania's wings and head coach Shelley Kerr was full of praise for all of her full-backs.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, she said: "I thought both of the full-backs were excellent. The reason we put Lisa [Evans] back there was to protect Hannah Godfrey given that it is her first cap. We knew both of them would get forward.

"Emma [Mitchell] was outstanding. She is a natural born winner. This is her first international match in over a year and she has not played a lot of club football either in terms of minutes but she was absolutely outstanding in her performance tonight."

  4. 'Result shows depth of Scotland squad'

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

Scotland were missing a number of key players for tonight's qualifier - most notably Jen Beattie and Kim Little - but head coach Shelley Kerr believes the result shows how much depth the national team now has.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, he said: "I think you always miss them. They have over 100 caps each. I think it shows the depth of the squad. We've got about 10 players missing tonight and we were still able to call up other strong players to replace them. You need a competitive environment within the national team and that's what we've got here now."

  5. 'I thought the debutants were excellent' - Kerr

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

Scotland had two debutants tonight in Kirsty Hanson and Hannah Godfrey - the latter of which managed to get a goal to her name. Scotland head coach Shelley Kerr explained how she approached the decision to start both players tonight.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, she said: "I took both of them aside today before pre-match, just to give them a heads up. I thought they were excellent. It's not easy when you get your first cap especially under the circumstances. Kirsty [Hanson] posed some problems on the wide area - she's powerful, we saw that in the training sessions we had earlier this week.

"Hannah [Godfrey] will be talking about her goal, although it was a tap in, it was brilliant from her."

  6. 'To be honest I don't think we played well' - Kerr

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

Scotland national team head coach Shelley Kerr was proud of her side's result but is adamant that they were far from their best tonight.

Speaking to BBC Scotland, she said: "To be honest I didn't think we played well, especially in the first half. I thought we were slow in the build up, took too many touches. We struggle away from home, we've done that here in the past and away at Belarus as well. So I'd have taken five goals all day long."

  7. 'Albania didn't make it easy for Scotland'

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

    Julie Fleeting

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Although they [Albania] aren't the best footballing side, you have to be professional and work hard throughout because they don't make it easy for you when they sit in, even if they aren't the strongest side.
  8. Group E as it stands

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

  9. 'Scotland got exactly what they came for'

    FT: Albania 0-5 Scotland

    Julie Fleeting

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Scotland got exactly what they came for this evening. The win, three points and a clean sheet. Shelley Kerr will be pleased with that. They haven't conceded a goal yet in the competition.
  10. FULL-TIME - Albania 0-5 Scotland

Scotland make it two wins from two and have now scored 13 goals without response from their opening qualifying matches against Cyprus and Albania.

Shelley Kerr's side were always favourites for this clash but the manner in which they've completely dominated an almost identical team that ran them close just 14 months ago surely shows just how much progress Scotland have made.

The national team's next game is against Cyprus in early April next year.

  11. Big chance for sixth goal missed

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Fantastic delivery from Emma Mitchell. It was a big chance for Scotland, going for a sixth goal but unfortunately just a bit too wide to finish.
  12. CLOSE!

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

Erin Cuthbert connects with a cross from Emma Mitchell at the front post but she's too far wide of the Albanian goal and the ball flies wide.

  13. Post update

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

Late and clumsy challenges are peppering the conclusion of this match as Albania go in search of a consolation goal. For what feels like the first time in the match, the hosts take a throw in deep in the Scotland half but the chance comes to nothing.

  14. 'Scotland are very professional'

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: I think the national team can be pleased with their performance tonight. They have been working well together, great possession and very professional.
  15. Ouch!

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

The Albanian goalkeeper is down on the ground after colliding with someone at the front post in an attempt to intercept a cross. Erin Cuthbert seems to be getting blamed for it but the replays suggest Viona Rexhepi actually ran in to one of her team mates.

  16. 'Albania offering nothing'

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Offensively Albania have offered nothing as a team this evening.
  17. Substitution for Scotland

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

Lisa Evans walks off to applause and Chloe Arthur takes her place.

  18. Murray's fantastic left foot

    Albania 0-5 Scotland

    Steven Thompson

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Quite similar to the third goal. Getting to the byline and cutting it back. A really good goal from Christie Murray, flicking it high in the net with her left foot. A fantastic goal.
