  1. That's all, folks!

    Bye for now

The Irish Premiership just keeps delivering. The top two sides play out a six-goal thriller, Glenavon get a crucial win over Ballymena while Glentoran inflict further misery on hapless Warrenpoint Town by way of Paddy McClean's last-minute winner.

Cliftonville quietly kept their title aspirations going with a 1-0 win over Institute.

There was drama everywhere. Oh, except for Inver Park, where Dungannon held Larne to a scoreless draw.

Crusaders are still top, but the advantage is now only three points over both Coleraine and Cliftonville.

Keep your eye on the BBC Sport NI website later for all the goals.

But that's not it for the action today. We'll be live streaming the Women's Irish Cup final between holders Glentoran and rivals Linfield. Kick-off at Windsor Park is 19:30 BST.

Champions Linfield travel to Carrick Rangers on Monday night before we return for another Premiership Saturday next week, with this full six-match programme to feast upon:

    • Dungannon Swifts v Carrick Rangers
    • Warrenpoint town v Institute
    • Ballymena United v Cliftonville
    • Crusaders v Glentoran
    • Linfield v Glenavon
    • Coleraine v Larne
  2. 'We deserved at least a point' - New Stute boss Connor

    Cliftonville 1-0 Institute

Quote Message: I thought we deserved at least a point out of the game. Maybe more than a point. We created probably the better chances. Although I'm happy with the attitude, I'm disappointed with the result. With a bit of luck, we would have got something out of the game. The players all performed really, really well. Everybody contributed and we've got to take on that positivity and get in a hard week's work and get our first win as quickly as possible. There are six or seven games gone so there is no need to panic. from Sean Connor Institute manager

  3. Disciplinary issues at the Oval?

    Glentoran 2-1 Warrenpoint Town

Quote Message: We had an issue last week when a few players apparently broke curfew and went out too close to a game. We're not here to coach choir boys, we've got 25 grown men. We don't air our dirty laundry out in the public domain. Players have their own lives, but we have strict rules and if they have been broken then players will be reprimanded. If it's found to be true we'll deal with it internally and then move forward. from Mick McDermott Manager, Glentoran

  4. Lindsay thrilled with 'resolute' Swifts

    Larne 0-0 Dungannon Swifts

Quote Message: It wasn't just the defenders, it was all of the team from one to 11. I'm absolutely delighted, I know it wasn't pretty but I make no apologies about that. Sometimes you just have to dig in and make yourself hard to beat which we haven't been for the past three games so today being resolute, keeping our shape well and keeping a clean sheet delighted me. Larne had a few chances in the first half and Sam Johnston made two or three really good saves but in the second half they didn't really test him until right at the end. from Kris Lindsay Dungannon Swifts manager

  10. McLaughlin content after Reds win

    Cliftonville 1-0 Institute

Quote Message: We had to work hard. Institute were extremely well organised but we were expecting that. With a new manager coming in, we knew there was going to be a bounce effect with Institute today. You have to give Sean Connor and all the Institute staff all the credit because they made it difficult for us. We should have put the game to bed in the second half with the penalty although that would have been a hit harsh on Institute. I'm just glad our boys dug in and kept a clean sheet. from Paddy McLaughlin Cliftonville manager

  12. Glens need to take their chances

    Glentoran 2-1 Warrenpoint Town

Quote Message: I thought we were excellent in the first half. We created the opportunities, but we were hard on the players in the dressing room because it should have been three or four nil at half time. If you don't bury your chances then the other team get a bit of belief. We have to give Warrenpoint credit, they have a good manager and play some good football. They came out in the second half and made it hard for us. from Mick McDermott Glentoran manager

  13. Jeffrey disappointment

    Glenavon 3-1 Ballymena Utd

Quote Message: I'm proud of my players. We have been hit with a lot of injuries and at 3.00pm on Friday we only had 13 fit players so I'm happy we were able to field a team. I can't fault the effort, commitment or application of my players. We scored a wonderful goal and then they scored a wonderful goal. The second half was nip and tuck and unfortunately their second goal was a mistake from us. We pushed and pressed to get back into the game but couldn't get that equalising goal. from David Jeffrey Ballymena United manager

  14. Coleraine fightback delights Kearney

    Coleraine 4-2 Crusaders

Quote Message: Big three points. We spoke to the players before the game and reminded them that we've had a few games this season when we've hurt ourselves with red cards and poor decisions. But we're happy with our performance. The start of the game wasn't ideal, going behind after just a few minutes, but I thought our response was brilliant. We want to get back to that level so that teams are fearing coming to our ground. There was a big crowd out today so it's good that they go home happy. from Oran Kearney Coleraine manager
    Oran KearneyColeraine manager
  15. Happy Hamilton

    Glenavon 3-1 Ballymena Utd

Quote Message: To a man we were excellent today - I thought we got just reward for our performance. Rhys Marshall has excelled in his new midfield role and that's three goals in three games for him now. He brings energy, breaks well into the box and scores goals. He has wanted to play right-back but I think he is maybe a bit wasted there and we have persuaded him. We were gutted to get nothing from our match with Crusaders last week and when we went behind today it was a test of our character. I'm not surprised we got back into the game and went on to win it. When we perform we are a match for any team in this league. from Gary Hamilton Glenavon manager

  16. On the up?

    Glentoran 2-1 Warrenpoint Town

Quote Message: We're naturally disappointed to lose, but to date that has been our best performance. In the second half we were very courageous. It was unfortunate, but the good thing is that we responded and made a real game of it here. It gives us hope going forward and if the guys can apply themselves like this for the next few weeks then we won't be in this position for much longer. from Stephen McDonnell Manager, Warrenpoint Town

  17. McClean's late header wins it!

  18. Jenkins puts the game to bed

    Glenavon 3-1 Ballymena United

Jordan Jenkins applies the neat finish to ensure maximum points for Glenavon against Ballymena.

    Cliftonville 1-0 Institute

Ruaidhri Donnelly’s first-half header is enough to earn Cliftonville a 1-0 victory over struggling Institute as the Reds move to within three points of leaders Crusaders.

Institute, despite showing signs of an improvement today as Sean Connor took charge of them for the first time, remain on a solitary league point after eight games.

    Glenavon 3-1 Ballymena United

A deserved three points for Glenavon who really upped their game in the second half.

Relief for Gary Hamilton and his charges who move above Carrick Rangers into ninth place in the table. Surely that position will improve further on the basis of what we saw today.

A second reverse of the campaign for Ballymena who drop to sixth.
