  1. Goodbye

Well, what an afternoon in the Scottish League Cup.

Four of today's five ties go to extra-time before being decided.

    • Celtic 2-1 Dunfermline
    • Forfar 1-2 Livingston
    • Hibernian 5-3 Morton
    • Kilmarnock 1-0 Hamilton
    • Partick Thistle 3-2 Ross County

We're back tomorrow for more League Cup action for Dundee v Aberdeen and East Fife v Rangers, followed by the draw for the quarter-finals.

Hope you can join us then. Cheers.

  2. 'It was like a game of basketball'

FT: Partick Thistle 3-2 Ross County

Ross County co-manager Steven Ferguson told BBC Scotland: "We didn't think we did well enough from the start, credit to Partick they were really up for the cup tie and rightly so.

"When you go one goal up you think at the very worst you can do enough to see the game out and that's how we thought it was going to go.

"The chances both sides had, it was like a game of basketball at times. We're really disappointed as it was a massive opportunity missed, but all we can do now is brush ourselves down and congratulate Partick and wish them all the best for the next round."

Thomasmck1888: What's gone on in the Hibs game that it's now in the 199th minute? #BBCSportscot

That's eagle-eyed of you bold Thomas. It certainly felt like the 199th minute here at Pacific Quay Towers! Alas, it was a slip of the finger that stretched the League Cup tie to an eye-watering length...

  4. 'I'm extremely proud of them' - Pars boss

    FT: Celtic 2-1 Dunfermline

Dunfermline manager Stevie Crawford: "I said before coming into this game, playing Celtic on the back of them losing in the Champions League to Cluj, to give their lot.

"They've done it to a man; even the boys who weren't stripped today. I'm extremely proud of them and disappointed for them.

"As you can hear in the background [at Celtic Park] the Dunfermline fans came out here in their numbers as well. I think we've shown that it could be an exciting season for us."

  6. Cup runneth over...

Four of this afternoon's five League Cup ties required extra-time yet none of those resulted in penalty shoot-outs.

Good news for supporters of those clubs who progress and also for my frazzled fingertips at Pacific Quay Towers.

Commiserations to those who lost in extra-time...

  12. Heartbreak for the Pars

    Celtic 2-1 Dunfermline

    Jane Lewis

BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Heartbreak for the Pars...yes there had been wave after wave of attack from Celtic, but Dunfermline had held firm until that James Forrest strike. Seven minutes away from a penalty shootout, but you feel Celtic will go on to win this tie now. Dunfermline heads will have gone down.

  13. A Saunders special!

    Partick Thistle 3-2 Ross County

    Kenny Crawford

    BBC Sport Scotland at Firhill

Goals for big defender Steven Saunders are few and far between, but he’s made a huge difference here with minutes to go! The former Ross County man headed in a at the back post from James Penrice’s corner! This game just keeps on giving!

  14. GOAL Celtic 2-1 Dunfermline

    James Forrest

James Forrest's deflected strike speeds beyond the inspirational Ryan Scully; relief for Celtic and dismay for the Pars...

  16. GOAL Kilmarnock 1-0 Hamilton

    Dom Thomas

Dom Thomas finally breaks the deadlock at Rugby Park. He controls the ball at the back post and squeezes the ball in at Owain Fon Williams' near post.

  17. 'Penalties looming at Celtic Park?'

    Celtic 1-1 Dunfermline

    Jane Lewis

BBC Sport Scotland at Celtic Park

Celtic creating chances, but perhaps with little conviction as they look for the winner in this League Cup tie. This is probably the last thing Neil Lennon wants for his team with their Europa League tie looming on Thursday. Dunfermline holding firm...are penalties looming?

Scott Wilson: Even if we win this Neil Lennon needs to go before he drags us down. He is so inept. Board must take blame also for a lazy and cheap managerial appointment.
