    That's it from our live text coverage of today's English Football League action.

    Just eight teams across the three divisions have played two games and still have a perfect winning record - with Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic leading the way in the Championship.

    But, as the cliche goes, the football season is a marathon - not a sprint.

    In terms of EFL coverage, we'll be back for Fulham's trip to Huddersfield on Friday, with the Terriers still looking for their first win since slipping back into the Championship.

    • An 89th-minute goal by Nicky Law earns Exeter a second win from two as they break Stevenage hearts with a 1-0 success.
    • Plymouth and Swindon also make it successive victories in the fourth tier, beating Colchester and Carlisle respectively.
    • Mansfield battle back from 2-0 down for the second match in a row, rescuing a point in a 2-2 home draw with Morecambe.
    • Salford are unable to follow-up last week’s winning start to Football League life as they go down 2-0 down away against Crawley.
    • Cheltenham score four times in 26 second-half minutes to battle back and thump Scunthorpe 4-1.

    • Another draw for Sunderland, who took a point away from Ipswich thanks to Lynden Gooch's equaliser.
    • Bolton's team of youngsters draw 0-0 with Coventry to move them up to -11 points.
    • Three clubs - Blackpool, Lincoln and Fleetwood - have maximum points from their first two games.
    • Portsmouth are off the mark for the new season, as they beat Tranmere 2-0 at Fratton Park.

    • Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic are the only sides left with 100% records after two games, having beaten Barnsley and Stoke respectively.
    • Relegated pair Cardiff and Fulham record their first wins of the season, while Huddersfield draw 1-1 at QPR.
    • Preston beat Wigan 3-0 and Hull overcome winless Reading 2-1 to notch their first victories.
    • Derby miss a penalty as they play out a goalless draw at home to Swansea, with Rams fans chanting Wayne Rooney's name.

    West Brom 1-1 Milwall

    Substitute Matt Smith is the hero for Millwall who come from behind to secure a draw away at West Brom.


    Cardiff 2-1 Luton

    Isaac Vassell's late, late goal gets Cardiff their first win of the season.

    Hull City 2-1 Reading

    Jarrod Bowen makes one goal and scores another as Hull hold on for victory but are made to sweat by Reading, who trailed 2-0 at the break.


    Charlton 3-1 Stoke

    Promoted Charlton keep up their perfect start to life back in the Championship as second-half goals from Chuks Aneke and Conor Gallagher give them all three points.


    Middlesbrough 0-1 Brentford

    Ollie Watkins' second-half goal is enough to give Brentford their first win of the season.

    Boro are still awaiting their first win under new boss Jonathan Woodgate.


    Derby 0-0 Swansea

    Martyn Waghorn misses a penalty against Swansea as Derby waste a great chance to make it two wins from two.


    Fulham 2-0 Blackburn

    Relegated Fulham off the mark in the Championship, as goals from captain Tom Cairney and striker Aleksandar Mitrovic give them victory at Craven Cottage.


    Birmingham 1-1 Bristol City

    Debutant Tommy Rowe rescues a point for Bristol City with a late leveller against Birmingham.


    Preston 3-0 Wigan

    A comfortable win for North End, who are off the mark for the season.


    Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Barnsley

    Just when it looked like Cardiff would have to settle for a point at home to promoted Luton, Isaac Vassell pops up with what must be the winner.

    He joined from Birmingham this week, and only came on in the first minute of stoppage time.


    FT: Bolton 0-0 Coventry

    What a result for Bolton, whose team of youngsters have earned a goalless draw against Coventry.

    They're up to -11 points now.
