  3. Post update

The final tie will be surprise package Madagascar v the winners of Ghana v Tunisia.

And on Thursday, Ivory Coast play Algeria.

  5. Post update

So we know three of the four quarter-final line-ups now.

It's all over. The Ivory Coast are into the quarter-finals, where they play Algeria on Thursday.

  7. Post update

Very anticlimactic. They cross the free-kick and the referee sees something and awards Ivory Coast a free out.

  9. Post update

Mali will have one more chance. They have a free-kick RIGHT on the edge of the box. We're beyond the three minutes added on now.

  10. Post update

Was that Mali's final chance? Adama Traore finds Adama Traore in space, he cuts past a defender and hits a powerful shot which is well saved.

  12. Post update

We're halfway through injury time now. Mali on the ball. They have a shot blocked. One minute left.

    Three minutes for Mali left.

  14. Post update

The Ivory Coast hanging on now, Serey Die turns a cross behind to stop Moussa Marega. Wilfried Bony heads the resulting corner away.

  15. Post update

Can Mali create one more chance? They win another corner thanks to Adama Traore.

  16. Post update

Wilfried Zaha fouls Youssouf Kone and then squares up to the Mali defender as things briefly look like they may boil over, but they calm down then.

  17. Post update

Brave goalkeeping from Sylvain Gbohouo to catch that corner among a crowd of players. For some reason he gets a free-kick, nobody fouled him. This will eat up some time nicely for the Ivory Coast.

  18. Post update

An Adama Traore does well to win a corner for Mali with a good run down the right wing.

The Ivory Coast make a change. Unemployed striker Wilfried Bony, who is somehow only 30, replaces Jonathan Kodjia.
