    Nigeria 3-2 Cameroon

That was Odion Ighalo's last touch.

    He has been replaced.

Meanwhile, Cameroon's Pierre Kunde is lucky to escape a red card after hacking down an opponent. He has already been booked.

    Nigeria 3-2 Cameroon

    Was that over the line?

Cameroon keeper Andre Onana somehow claws the ball away after Odion Ighalo's header.

The referee waves play on and Ighalo cannot believe it has not been given.

Now that would have been special! Onana races out of his goal, dribbles the ball forward and launches a pass to Bahoken whose control lets him down - a better touch and it was a chance.

    Ten minutes remaining!

Thumbs up if you think Nigeria will see this out.

Thumbs down if you think Cameroon will get a late equaliser.

    Nigeria 3-2 Cameroon

    Cameroon look stunned.

After 62 minutes they were 2-1 ahead and looking comfortable.

Four minutes later they were left picking up the pieces.

They're desperately looking for an opening to stay in the tournament.

We have around 20 minutes left on the clock - and this game is living up to its billing at least in terms of goals if not in the overall quality of the two teams.

  13. Post update

    Nigeria 3-2 Cameroon

Just over 20 minutes of normal time remaining.

Holders Cameroon are on their way home unless they can come up with another goal.

You wouldn't put it past them - this game has had everything.

  14. GOAL - Nigeria 3-2 Cameroon

    Alex Iwobi

This is turning into an Afcon classic!

Alex Iwobi keeps his cool to fire past the keeper after Odion Ighalo turns provider with a clever pass to tee-up his team-mate.

It's a lovely finish by the Arsenal man and suddenly Cameroon, the holders, are behind.

  15. GOAL - Nigeria 2-2 Cameroon

    Odion Ighalo

    Brilliant goal!

A sweeping Nigeria move brings about the equaliser as Ahmed Musa chests a cross into the path of Odion Ighalo to volley into the net from close range.

    It's all square in Alexandria.

Two of Africa's finest strikers are watching this game from the stands - Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o and Nigeria's Kanu.

I am wondering if they are both wishing that they were on the pitch and adding a little attacking quality to the proceedings. Kanu was the one smiling but that grin has now switched to Eto'o's face!

  17. Post update

    Nigeria 1-2 Cameroon

Ahmed Musa goes down inside Cameroon's penalty area after a challege by Collins Fai but the referee is not interested.

To be honest, there were no appeals from Nigeria.

The Super Eagles need to do something - there is just over half an hour of normal time remaining.

    Nigeria 1-2 Cameroon

Georges Mandjeck is the latest Cameroon player to be booked as the tally of bruising challenges rises.

    Nigeria 1-2 Cameroon

    How did that stay out?

Cameroon go so close to extending their lead after Nigeria's defence again fails to react to a quickly taken set-piece.

This time Pierre Kunde's free-kick finds Clinton Njie whose attempted pass comes off a Nigeria shirt and looks to be heading over the line before Daniel Akpeyi sticks out a big hand to keep it out.
