Live Reporting

By Neil Johnston

All times stated are UK

  1. Goodbye

Morocco and Ivory Coast are through.

South Africa face an anxious wait to find out if they qualify for the next stage while Namibia are out.

    Thanks for your company.

  2. FULL-TIME

    Namibia 1-4 Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast go through to the last 16!

    Namibia are going home.

  3. FULL-TIME

    South Africa 0-1 Morocco

Three wins out of three for Morocco!

South Africa will have to wait to find out if they make it through as one of the best third-placed finishers.

  4. GOAL - South Africa 0-1 Morocco

    Mbark Boussoufa

    Huge drama!

Has a swing of a left boot in the 90th minute just knocked South Africa out?

Mbark Boussoufa fires home from about 12 yards out.

  5. GOAL - Namibia 1-4 Ivory Coast

    Maxwel Cornet

    All over.

Maxwel Cornet drills home a fourth and Ivory Coast are sailing into the last 16.

Namibia could do with the final whistle here.

  6. Post update

    Namibia 1-3 Ivory Coast

    No Madagascar-style shock here.

Ivory Coast have turned in a decent performance when it mattered.

Two minutes of normal time remaining.

  7. GOAL - Namibia 1-3 Ivory Coast

    Wilfried Zaha

The Arsenal target is on the scoresheet!

Wilfried Zaha surely seals three points on his return to the Ivory Coast starting line-up with a drilled low finish from 15 yards.

The two-time champions of Africa are going through to the knockout stages.

  8. CLOSE!

    South Africa 0-0 Morocco

Just over 10 minutes of normal time remaining.

Morocco still look the more likely to score. Youssef En-Nesyri does well to stay on his feet after rounding the keeper but cannot finish.

  9. YELLOW CARD

    Namibia 1-2 ivory Coast

Wilfried Zaha is down and Namibia's Deon Hotto is responsible after hacking at the Ivory Coast star.

That's a yellow all day long. And it leaves the Elephants with a free-kick 25-yards from goal.

  10. GOAL - Namibia 1-2 Ivory Coast

    Joslin Kamatuka

    Well, well, well.

It's a gift for Namibia which they happily take as a catalogue of errors at the back gift them a lifeline.

Terrific work by Joslin Kamatuka but he is helped by awful defending by Wilfried Kanon and Ismael Traore. There was some suspect goalkeeping as well.

Namibia are back in this with more than 15 minutes of normal time remaining.

  11. Post update

    Namibia 0-2 Ivory Coast

    John Bennett

    BBC World Service in Cairo

The noise in the stadium just intensified. I was wondering what was going on before realising it’s the Senegal fans who are here for their match later tonight.

Senegal flags being waved in front of Ivory Coast v Namibia, you’ve got to love the AFCON double headers.

  12. Post update

    Namibia 0-2 Ivory Coast

That really should be 3-0. What is Wilfried Zaha playing at from eight-yards?

Instead of putting his foot through the ball or even placing it, the Crystal Palace man scuffs a shot weakly into Namibia goalkeeper Lloyd Kazapua's arms.

I wonder if that knocks anything off Crystal Palace's reported £80m valuation of him?

  13. HITS THE WOODWORK

    South Africa 0-0 Morocco

South Africa's crossbar is still rattling seconds after Achraf Hakimi's outrageous attempt from outside the penalty area.

    What a strike.

  14. 'Zaha wants to join Arsenal'

    Namibia 0-2 Ivory Coast

    David Ornstein

    BBC Sport

Arsenal have submitted an opening bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha. No players have been offered as part of the proposed deal so far. It will be rejected by Palace.

Zaha wants to join Arsenal and their head coach Unai Emery is particularly keen on the Ivory Coast international, but Palace value him at up to £80m and Arsenal do not have anywhere near that level of money available to spend this summer.

The Gunners will have to hope the Eagles will compromise on a far lower fee and staggered payments.

  15. Zaha in demand

    Namibia 0-2 Ivory Coast

Some transfer news reaching me about Wilfried Zaha.

While he is in Egypt playing right now for Ivory Coast, Arsenal have submitted an opening bid for the Crystal Palace winger.

  16. Post update

    Namibia 0-2 Ivory Coast

    John Bennett

    BBC World Service in Cairo

You’ve got to feel for Namibia. They’ve played some decent stuff but just aren’t clinical at all. Against Morocco they lost to a late own goal. Versus South Africa it was a mistake by the keeper. And now they concede after a wicked deflection. It was a great achievement to qualify but they’ll be going home thinking what might have been with a bit more luck.

  17. SUBSTITUTION

    South Africa 0-0 Morocco

Morocco have decided to shake things up by sending on Youssef Ait Bennasser for Karim El Ahmadi but this still has 0-0 written all over it.

  18. GOAL - Namibia 0-2 Ivory Coast

    Ryan Nyambe (own goal)

Blackburn defender Ryan Nyambe will not want to see a replay of Ivory Coast's second goal.

Geoffrey Serey Die's shot is from miles out but Nyambe plonks his head in the way and deflects it into the bottom left corner.

The 21-year-old is yet to score a goal in almost a century of senior appearances. Ouch.

  19. Post update

    Namibia 0-1 Ivory Coast

That's poor from Wilfried Bony who frankly looks a shell of the player we saw first time around at Swansea.

The 30-year-old Ivory Coast man holds the ball up well but then decides to take a pop from 25-yards.

And it does not end well - trickling well wide of the left post. Total waste.

  20. Post update

    South Africa 0-0 Morocco

If South Africa score, then the top three teams in Group D would have the same number of points, same goal difference, same goals scored and same goals conceded.
