  1. Joy and relief for the Rams

    FT: Derby 2-1 Wigan

    Fikayo Tomori

It wasn't particularly pretty but Derby fans, Rams boss Frank Lampard and the players won't care.

Plenty of spirit was on display that's for sure. Harsh on Wigan who were the more composed side for much of the first hour.

But it's Derby who are back in the running for the play-offs after three straight league defeats. Wigan have work to do to avoid the drop.

    Thanks for joining us.

Our games in Leagues One and Two have also come to an end.

Blackpool registered a 2-1 win at Accrington thanks to Jay Spearing's late penalty, while in League Two Bury missed the chance to go top as they drew 1-1 at Cheltenham.

    Derby 2-1 Wigan

    Scott Malone

And that is that. A spirited comeback and the Rams win to end a run of three Championship defeats in a row.

    Derby 2-1 WIgan

The final seconds. Derby look like they have done enough and will go level on points with Bristol City in sixth place.

  5. Post update

    Derby 2-1 Wigan

Some good pressure by Wigan ends with Martyn Waghorn conceding a free-kick wide on the right. He clumps Kal Naithsmith and Wigan have a chance.

Reece James to take it wide, but it's cleared.

    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Sunderland

Sunderland will play Portsmouth in the final of the Checkatrade Trophy after a comprehensive win at Bristol Rovers.

Goals from Will Grigg and Lewis Morgan were enough for the Wearsiders to book their place at Wembley.

  7. Post update

    Derby 2-1 Wigan

We are into five minutes of additional time at Pride Park.

A run of three consecutive Championship defeats for Derby is close to coming to an end with a win.

    Derby 2-1 Wigan

David Nugent is on and almost wraps it up for Derby, but he hits the post

Jayden Bogle sends a deep cross to the far post and Waghorn can only hit the outside of the post from a tight angle.

  9. Post update

    Derby 2-1 Wigan

Time is running out for Wigan at Pride Park. A couple of minutes plus injury time to go. Will Derby hold on?

That won't help their cause. Nick Powell has a sight of goal but is hopelessly off target.

  10. Post update

    Derby 2-1 WIgan

Derby will get chances to break now for sure as Wigan press.

They have the pace to do that effectively.

First they will have to do their defensive work and they just do enough to crowd out Nathan Byrne, who shoots over from way out wide.

  11. Post update

    Derby 2-1 Wigan

Just before that goal. Michael Jacobs came off for Wigan.

Josh Windass, who has five goals in the league for the Latics this season, is on.

    Can he find an equaliser?

The home side are, not surprisingly, slowing things down.

  12. League One update

    Accrington 1-2 Blackpool

It's all going on at Accrington!

First Jay Spearing restores Blackpool's lead with a penalty and then Stanley goalkeeper Dimitar Evtimov is sent off. Though I'm not 100% sure what for.

  13. GOAL: Derby 2-1 Wigan

    Scott Malone (78 mins)

A simple finish by Scott Malone.

Harry Wilson and Duane Holmes are involved on the right and Jayden Bogle has a shot across goal which is going wide until Malone races in to tap it home from close range.

Derby are been fare from at their best but they have shown real spirit and Pride Park is bouncing now. Literally.

The Rams fans are jumping up and down all around the place.

  14. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

    Harry Wilson

Derby forward Harry Wilson has been as bright as anyone. He cuts inside on his left but his curling effort his blocked.

  15. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

Richard Keogh has made amends for his own error but tracking back but has to concede another corner.

Scott Malone gets it away and Scott Carson gathers as attack again.

Once again the ball comes straight back and Leon Clarke has another sight of goal but volleys it wide. It came at him quickly but it was another decent chance for the visitors.

  16. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

Fikayo Tomori has talked himself into the book for disputing a corner awarded to Wigan. It looked like a Rams ball, but Tomori, threw himself about in front of the assistant, wagged his finger at the ref and then punched the ball away.

    The yellow card was inevitable.

    Derby deal with the corner.

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

Nick Powell is on for Wigan. He has some real quality about him. Will that make a difference in the final 20 minutes?

    Goalscorer Gavin Massey makes way.

  18. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

Both sides fancy a winner here.

The other Derby sub wants in on the act.

Duane Holmes unleashes a nasty curling strike that Wigan keeper Jamie Jones beats away.

  19. CLOSE!

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

But there's a big warning at the other end. Michael Jacobs flashes a shot across goal from out wide on the left as Wigan look to hit back.

Derby are throwing everything forward but leaving some gaps at the back.

  20. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Wigan

Can they build on that. The crowd were getting frustrated. Derby were looking fairly clueless in attack it has to be said.

But what magnificent strike by the sub.
