  1. That's all for now

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

That quarter-final draw brings to an end a breathless night of Scottish Cup action in the Highlands.

Four goals, a spree of chances and a stoppage-time equaliser. Some entertaining fare from Ross County and Inverness, who will contest a replay next Tuesday.

The highlights of tonight's game will be online in the next few hours - meantime, do head over to our Twitter account and check out Aaron Doran's screamer.

We'll do this all again next week...join us then, and enjoy the rest of your evening.

  2. 'All to play for' in next week's replay

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

    Michael Stewart

Former Scotland midfielder on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: It’s all to play for. Inverness Caley Thistle are an attacking threat and Ross County have got quality. There’s not a lot between the sides.
  3. Doran's rasping rocket!

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

Here's another look at Aaron Doran's thunderbolt of an opener.

  4. County 'never know when we're beaten'

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

Ross County co-manager Steven Ferguson: "We always felt there would be one more chance in the game. Josh is well onside and does great to finish it.

"The players never know when they’re beaten. Sometimes it’s not pretty and you have to put your shoulder to the wheel and the players deserve all the credit for that.

"I don’t think either us would have wanted a replay. We’re delighted we’re still in the hat."

  5. Late goal 'sums up' Inverness season

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

Inverness CT manager John Robertson on BBC Two: "It’s just about being street-smart. They stopped.

"You just keep defending but they’ve let Josh Mullin through and he’s scored. That sums up our season. We’ve been in the lead and given away a goal at the end. We now have a replay to play so we’ll just get on with it.

"We felt we were getting close to that third goal which would have finished the game off. We didn’t see where their goal was going to come from. That's the difference. That’s why we’re fourth in the league and County are top."

  6. 'It feels like a defeat' - Doran

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

Inverness CT goal-scorer Aaron Doran on BBC Two: "It's a good draw for both teams and a great game for the neutrals today. We're not happy to concede a goal late and we haven't beaten them this season.

"Definitely, it feels like a defeat. We've felt like this a few times this season.

"We've been playing nice football, scoring goals, but backing off and we've conceded late again. It's something we'll try and put right in the next few games.

"We have been the better team in the four derbies. We're going all-out for the win."

  7. Holders face 'dangerous' Leith trip

    Scott McDonald

Former Celtic striker on BBC Sportsound

That's a dangerous one for Celtic. Hibs, at Easter Road, are very good. They are all really intriguing ties.

  8. Quarter-final draw in full

Right then. Some tasty ties in amongst that lot.

Aberdeen will host Kilmarnock or Rangers.

An all-Championship affair between Dundee United and one of the Highland rivals at Tannadice.

Hearts face a trip to Firhill and a date with Gary Caldwell's Partick Thistle.

And holders Celtic will continue their defence of the trophy at Easter Road against the 2016 winners Hibernian.

  14. It's time for the draw...

    Here we go, then.

Rob Maclean is giving us a brief lowdown on the teams currently in the hat for the quarter-final draw.

A reminder of those still in the cup:

Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee United, Hearts, Hibernian, Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock/Rangers, Ross County/Inverness CT.

  15. Caley Thistle 'caught out'

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Quote Message: Caley Thistle had the game won but there was no sign of a defensive performance in the last 10 minutes to hold on to that lead. And they were caught out. The second half was much better than the first, the legs began to tire a little bit, it began to open up, there was more space and more chances. It would be a brave man to stick their neck out and say who is going to win this tie.
  16. County 'confident' of replay win

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

Ross County goal-scorer Josh Mullin on BBC Two Scotland: "The replay will be another tough game but we’re confident."

Man of the match, Ross County winger Michael Gardyne: "Delighted we’ve manged to take it to a replay. Were always going to come out of the traps when we're 1-0 down at half-time."

  17. 'Great entertainment'...and no diving

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

    Derek Ferguson

Former Rangers and Hamilton midfielder on Sportsound

Quote Message: That was a great game. We spoke about how the quality could've been a little bit better in the final third, but that's probably us being a wee bit greedy. You didn't know which way it was going to go, right to the death. The tackles were flying in, no players feigning injury. It was an honest bunch giving their all and a giving this crowd great entertainment.
  18. 'Tight' tie - as expected

FT: Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

    Billy Dodds

    Former Scotland striker on Sportsound

Quote Message: I kinda knew it would be tight. There have been chances, quality, and four goals. Can’t ask for any more.
  19. FULL-TIME Ross County 2-2 Inverness CT

That's it! The Highland rivals will contest a replay next Tuesday after a bonkers finish.

Ross County's Josh Mullin scurried clear and drove low past Mark Ridgers in the 90th minute to level the game.

Inverness led through Aaron Doran's long-range stunner, then Brad McKay's effort from a corner, either side of Ross Stewart's well-worked tap-in.

Mullin's breakaway goal salvaged a replay for the Staggies and added a thrilling climax to an engrossing Highland derby.
