  1. 'It was brilliant scoring the winner'

    Crusaders 4-3 Linfield

Quote Message: It was brilliant and a great night, especially for our fans. We knew it was going to be difficult in the first half with the wind and we still had a chance at 3-1 down at half-time. It was brilliant scoring the winner and it shows the steel and determination we have to win games. from David Cushley Crusaders double scorer

  2. Baxter praise for Crusaders heroes

    Crusaders 4-3 Linfield

Quote Message: We deserved it - you saw the raw effort of the team out there. I was really pleased to equalise in the first half but then we gave away two sloppy goals. But we knew a two-goal lead would never be enough with this severe gale and we chased then down in the second half and got the goals. from Stephen Baxter Crusaders manager

  5. I believe in my players - Hamilton

    Glenavon 2-0 Linfield

Quote Message: I believe in the squad of players that I have. they have done me well over the last seven and a half years, they have been a joy to work with and I would still say that this is the best squad I have had... we lost a lot of players and for the team to be performing the way that they are is a credit to them. from Gary Hamilton Glenavon player/manager

    Glenavon 2-0 Linfield

Cool as you like from the impressive Josh Daniels to seal the win for Glenavon.

    Glenavon 2-0 Linfield

Great win for Glenavon and Linfield's 10 game winning streak finally comes to an end courtesy of second half goals from Aaron Harmon and Josh Daniels.

So Linfield are still firmly in the driving seat in the race for the title but, BUT, Ballymena fans will perhaps see just a chink of light after that result.

  8. Cervenka misses late chance to equalise

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Just before Josh Daniels doubled Glenavon's lead, Jonathan Tuffey denied Marek Cervenka at the other end.

  9. GOAL

    Glenavon 2-0 Linfield

Josh Daniels makes it two! And with it he has probably brought Linfield's winning run to an end.

It's not one that Josh Robinson will want to watch again as he misjudges a bouncing ball which goes over his head allowing Daniels through on goal.

Daniels keeps his cool and slips it beyond Gareth Deane.

  10. Oh so close

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Oh my. Biggest chance of a Linfield goal so far and Jonathan Tuffey, again, gets in the way.

Suddenly Marek Cervenka is clean through on goal after an Andrew Waterworth flick-on and he tries to slide it beyond the Glenavon keeper, who stops the effort with his legs.

  11. Here's Gary

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Gary Hamilton has really taken to the role of late sub lately, hasn't he?

Here comes the Glenavon gaffer, replacing Conor McCloskey with 10 minutes to go.

  12. Irish Prem gone stateside

  13. Waterworth hits the post

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Linfield have come this close to an equaliser.

  14. Wasted opportunity

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

That's not good from Conor McCloskey who picks the ball up on the right with a number of Glenavon men streaming forward.

They sense a real opportunity but McCloskey's ball is beyond all of them and the chance is gone. Fifteen minutes of normal time remaining now.

  15. Over from Cervenka

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Linfield with the pressure now as Kyle McClean cuts the ball back for Marek Cervenka who is running away from goal to collect the pass, he can't keep his effort down and it's way over the bar.

  16. Woodwork for Waterworth

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Marek Cervenka and Kirk Millar are on as Jordan Stewart and Daniel Kearns make way.

And then just a second after the changes the ball falls kindly for Andrew Waterworth after it bounces of James Singleton, for once Jonathan Tuffey is nowhere near the effort but mercifully for Glenavon the base of the post saves them.

  17. Mitchell can't connect

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Rhys Marshall creates space on the right and clips a great ball in. Andrew Mitchell rises really well but just can't get any force on the header as is drifts right across Gareth Deane's goal.

  18. Harmon screamer opens the scoring

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

  19. Linfield battle back

    Glenavon 1-0 Linfield

Chris Casement with a Carlos Alberto-esque effort as he streams onto the ball from right wing back. But, once again, Tuffey is level to it.

Then a minute later, the prolific Jimmy Callacher rises highest to meet a free-kick but on this occasion he can't put it on target.
