  1. Thanks for joining us

    Leeds celebrate

That's about it from us tonight, on a good night for Leeds and Sheffield United.

And those two meet at Bramall Lane on Saturday. Tasty!

We'll see you again tomorrow, for six more Championship games, including Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest. Do join us again tomorrow.

    Until then, cheers.

  2. How it stands at the bottom

    Bottom six

And at the bottom, Hull move above Bolton courtesy of their draw with leaders Norwich, coupled with struggling Wanderers' loss at Sheffield Wednesday.

Rotherham edge a point further away from danger, but they were ever so close to adding a further two points before conceding a stoppage-time equaliser.

  3. How it stands at the top

    Top six

Here's what tonight's results have done to the standings at the top of the Championship.

Leeds go second, moving within a point of leaders Norwich.

And Sheffield United's away victory means that just three points separate the top four.

  4. Full-time League Two headlines

    • Macclesfield Town, who appointed Sol Campbell as their new manager earlier on Tuesday, win at promotion-chasing Exeter City. That's only their third league victory this season.
    • Second-from-bottom Notts County are held to 1-1 draw against Carlisle.
    • MK Dons beat Morecambe 2-0 to move top, while Lincoln City slip to second place with 1-1 draw against Oldham Athletic
  5. Full-time League One headlines

    • Portsmouth beat Walsall 2-0 and Sunderland hold on to beat Barnsley 4-2 as League One's top two continue their unbeaten streaks.
    • Luton Town thrash struggling Bradford City 4-0 to move third while Peterborough move up to fourth following a 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.
    • Shrewsbury Town move seven points clear of the drop zone with a win against Plymouth Argyle and Gillingham beat Bristol Rovers 2-1.
  6. Full-time Championship headlines

    Leon Clarke
    • Marc McNulty misses a late penalty for Reading as Leeds United hold on to beat the Royals and close the gap on leaders Norwich City.
    • The Canaries are held to a goalless draw by lowly Hull City, while Middlesbrough draw 1-1 at in-form Preston North End.
    • Sheffield United come from behind to win 3-2 at Brentford, while Sheffield Wednesday squeeze past fellow strugglers Bolton Wanderers and Queens Park Rangers score a last-minute equaliser at Rotherham United.

    Exeter 0-1 Macclesfield

Sol Campbell's new side Macclesfield - bottom of League Two - have won at promotion-chasing Exeter! Remarkable stuff!

What a start to the Sol era. He was watching on from the stands.

    Rotherham 2-2 QPR

There were three goals in the first 15 minutes in this one, but it's Luke Freeman's late equaliser that sends the travelling QPR fans home the happier of the two sets of supporters.

    Preston 1-1 Middlesbrough

Boro are held as well, so they slip to third, dropping below Leeds.

Preston, meanwhile, stretch their unbeaten run to nine games.

    Hull 0-0 Norwich

It's all over. Leaders Norwich have been held.

    Brentford 2-3 Sheff Utd

It's a big win for Chris Wilder's men!

  12. League One & League Two update

    View more on twitter

Not much longer for Macclesfield Town to hold on for victory against Exeter City.

If they manage to avoid conceding, it will be just their third win in the league this season.

In League One, Portsmouth and Sunderland look to be tightening their grasp on first and second place respectively as we enter the final stages.

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Bolton

    Bolton players

Sheffield Wednesday hold on to beat Bolton Wanderers, with Tom Lees' second-half header the difference.

    Leeds 1-0 Reading

    Leeds players

    Leeds celebrate!

  15. Post update

    Brentford 2-3 Sheff Utd

Brentford have thrown everything at the Blades, but time is running out...

  16. GOAL: Rotherham 2-2 QPR

    Luke Freeman (90+1 mins)

QPR's late pressure pays off! And, one day after signing a new contract, Luke Freeman is the man to head them level.

The QPR players all peel away and run off to the corner to celebrate. Proper late drama at the New York Stadium.

  17. Post update

    Hull 0-0 Norwich

There'll be at least five minutes of added time at the KCOM Stadium. Can either side grab a late winner?

  18. CLOSE!

    Preston 1-1 Middlesbrough

Preston nearly pinch the points, but Jordan Storey fires over from close range.

    Leeds 1-0 Reading

    Penalty save

Leeds keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell pulls off a super save! He got down low to it to deny Reading's Marc McNulty! Elland Road absolutely loves that.

    Leeds 1-0 Reading

Oh Barry Douglas, what've you done there?!

Josh Sims runs into the Leeds United penalty area before being shown wide by the former Wolves left-back, who then needlessly goes to ground and brings the Reading man down.

The referee points to the spot...
