I'm sorry I ever doubted you. I thought you would annoy me; get in the way and become a nuisance.
But you have been so much more than that.
You have brought me closer to international football and out of my post-World Cup blues.
You have given me excitement, anxiety and a roller-coaster ride throughout the group stages.
My only regret is that I wrote you off in the first place. I will countdown until next summer when we can be together again.
Yours converted,
Emma

Albania 1-0 Wales
Wales suffered an embarrassing 1-0 friendly defeat in Albania to take the shine off Chris Gunter's record-breaking 93rd appearance.
Gunter captained his country for only the second time as he surpassed Neville Southall's 92 caps, but the visitors failed to produce a performance to match his achievement.
A much-changed and youthful Wales side squandered a host of chances to take the lead against the hosts, ranked 60th in the world and smarting from a 4-0 home thrashing by Scotland on Saturday.
The Nations League group-stage has finally drawn to a close and we now have our four finalists:
England, Switzerland, Portugal and the Netherlands.
Here's the rest of tonight's results:
Group C4 -
Montenegro 0-1 Romania
Serbia 4-1 Lithuania
Group D3 -
Kosovo 4-0 Azerbaijan
Malta 1-1 Faroe Islands
Group A3 -
Portugal 1-1 Poland
Group B2 -
Sweden 2-0 Russia
Group C1 -
Scotland 3-2 Israel

FT: Portugal 1-1 Poland
So Poland’s draw in Portugal in the Nations League tonight
means Germany will NOT be among the top seeds for the Euro 2020 qualifying
draw.
Germany and Iceland, who were already both relegated, are
the two worst teams from League A so are now placed in the second set of seeds
for the draw on December 2nd.
The bad news is that England could be drawn against them. The good news is, so could another top team - meaning one could miss out.
FULL-TIME
France 1-0 Uruguay
All over in Paris. World champions France come away with their third win in six games.
SUBSTITUTION
France 1-0 Uruguay

YELLOW CARD
France 1-0 Uruguay
Antoine Griezmann is shown a yellow card but it's not entirely clear why. He's chatting away frustratingly to the referee though - perhaps it was something he said?
