    Well, that was... exhausting.

    Congratulations to the 10 teams through to the second round, whether that be Doncaster's 7-0 hammering of Chorley or Slough's nail-biting 8-7 penalty shoot-out victory at Sutton.

    Now that's finally finished, let us remind you of the major talking points from tonight's first-round replays:

    • Sixth-tier Slough upset National League Sutton, winning 8-7 on penalties.
    • National League side Halifax shock Morecambe from League Two, winning 1-0 at The Shay.
    • League One Bradford need penalties to beat non-league Aldershot.
    • Alfie May scores four as League One Doncaster thrash non-league Chorley 7-0.
    • Charlton ease past League Two Mansfield 5-0 - Lyle Taylor scoring a hat-trick.
    • Victories for Chesterfield, Cheltenham, Southend, Oxford United and Tranmere.

    This time they seize the opportunity.

    George Wells makes no mistake and the National League South side Slough Town have pulled off the upset, knocking National League Sutton out of the FA Cup.

    They will face either Gillingham or Hartlepool, who play their first-round replay tomorrow, in the second round.

    Adam McDonnell scored Aldershot's third penalty but it didn't matter as Jack Payne does the honours to send the League One team through.

    Heartbreak for the National League side who showed great character to battle back after going a goal down in extra-time.

    The Bantams, bottom of League one, now travel to Peterborough in the second round.
