  1. SUBSTITUTION

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Double sub for Sheffield United to try and change the momentum of the game.

Off go captain Billy Sharp and midfielder Mark Duffy, with striker Leon Clarke and former Ram Paul Coutts on in their place.

Tim Hinds: Think United are the Arsenal of the Championship. Bit guilty of overplaying.

  3. CLOSE!

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

    Derby are getting closer.

After a brief spell of pressure from Sheffield United, the Rams break up the field and Tom Lawrence seizes on a loose ball 25 yards out.

He hits it first time but it's just wide of the post.

  4. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder and his loyal deputy Alan Knill are deep in conversation on the touchline. I wonder what they're talking about...

Where to go for a curry after? Who's doing the driving later?

I think more likely, it's about why their team isn't quite at it.

As things stand though, they're ending the weekend as they started it - at the top of the Championship.

  5. Birmingham 'played with heart'

    Reaction: Stoke 0-1 Birmingham

    Birmingham City

After the Blues stretched their unbeaten run to nine games with a 1-0 win against their former manager Gary Rowett's Stoke City side, Birmingham boss Garry Monk told BBC WM 95.6:

"It’s a huge three points considering who we were playing against, away from home, one of the best squads in the league, very much fancied for promotion.

“The lads deserve huge credit. We were organised, disciplined and resilient and we played with heart.

“That was a really gutsy display there and we were clinical when we needed to be.

“It’s good to send that packed away end home happy. It’s a really good feeling at the club right now.”

  6. CLOSE!

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Derby forward Martyn Waghorn cuts in from the right and unleashes a powerful left-footed shot, but it creeps just wide and over.

Dean Henderson in the Sheffield United goal looked to be struggling to cover that.

  7. GREAT SAVE!

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

    Frank Lampard

Lovely patient build-up from Derby before Jayden Bogle beats a couple of players down the right and plays a lovely ball for Tom Lawrence in the inside right channel.

The Wales forward lashes a shot first time, which Dean Henderson superbly parries behind.

    The corner comes to nothing.

  8. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Joking aside, Sheffield United have once again started really slowly.

Derby are dominating possession and pressing to get it back.

The Blades just don't look quite at it - yet.

  9. Post update

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Boring! A minute played and no goals in this second half.

If you're just joining us, Craig Bryson gave Derby the lead after just 19 seconds of this match before Chris Basham levelled for the Blades just before half-time.

  10. KICK-OFF

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United get us back under way at Derby.

This second half will have to go some to match the first.

  11. At worst, it should be been 0-0 - Moore

    Reaction: Wigan 1-0 West Brom

    Darren Moore

Following the Baggies' loss at Wigan, West Brom boss Darren Moore told BBC WM 95.6:

"We were in bits and pieces. It was stop-start, really. As they [Wigan] grew in to the game, the game was a physical battle.

"The all-important chance fell to them, and he stuck it away. It was a poor goal from our aspect, that we've given them.

"I haven't got many complaints about the red card. The referee was correct. We move on.

"I thought, at worst, it was a 0-0 today, so to give them the goal that we did was a bit disappointing. But this is what the Championship is about. Every little point and detail matters."

  12. Norwich earning respect with results - Farke

    Reaction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Norwich

    Daniel Farke

Norwich head coach Daniel Farke has been speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk after the Canaries came from behind to win 2-1 at Nottingham Forest.

The result moved them up to fifth in the Championship.

"It's so tough to beat Forest. To turn the game, and get - in the end - a well-deserved win, it's big compliments to the lads," Farke said.

"We are in good shape. All the other teams are probably thinking 'Norwich are a pretty young side with academy players'.

"With this result, the respect will grow. We'll take this."

  13. Villa squad can be a force - Smith

    Reaction: Aston Villa 1-0 Swansea

    Dean Smith

After his new side won his first game in charge, Villa boss Dean Smith told BBC WM 95.6:

"It just shows what a good squad I've inherited here. Swansea City are a very good football team.

"When these players are at it, they certainly can be a force. And we saw the game out quite well at the end.

"We defended set-pieces very well and we've done work on set-pieces yesterday, so they've taken some new stuff on."

  14. Post update

While the players take 15 minutes at Pride Park, let's have a bit of reaction from the earlier games...

  15. Post update

    HT: Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

If the Blades cling on to that precious point, they'll end the weekend as they began it - at the top of the Championship. Dreamland.

    Championship top six
  16. HALF-TIME

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

A breathless half of football comes to an end.

Chris Basham's equaliser for Sheffield United cancels out a goal in the 19th second from Derby midfielder Craig Bryson.

  17. CLOSE!

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

The ball bounces around Sheffield United's box after a corner and eventually loops to Derby striker Jack Marriott at the back post, whose left-foot volley is beaten away by Dean Henderson.

That turns into a counter attack that ends with Mark Duffy curling narrowly wide.

  18. CLOSE!

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

Martyn Waghorn almost restores Derby's lead immediately.

Craig Forsyth whips in a perfect left-wing cross, and Waghorn rises highest before head wide of the right-hand post.

  19. GOAL: Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

    Chris Basham

What was I saying about service?

Well John Fleck decided he wouldn't pass to anyone, he just dribbled and dribbled and dribbled until there was nobody left to run past but the goalkeeper.

He then unselfishly pulls the ball across for Chris Basham to tap in.

To be fair to Derby, they marked up well - Basham is a centre-half who was in the centre-forward position.

  20. Post update

    Derby 1-0 Sheff Utd

Lots of good play from Sheffield United but their end product just hasn't been there yet.

Crosses too deep, too high and not beating the first man.

Captain and top-scorer Billy Sharp's beating his thighs in frustration at the (lack of) service he's getting.
