That just about ends a busy day of EFL football.

Middlesbrough started the day top of the Championship, and they ended it there, thanks to defeats for Leeds, West Brom and Sheffield United.

Oh, and Macclesfield picked up their first win of the season in League Two - and their first victory in league football in 37 games.

There is a full fixture-list spread over Tuesday and Wednesday, so we'll be back then.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  3. 'My family won't be happy'

    FT: Derby 2-1 Sheff Utd

Derby striker Jack Marriott tells Sky Sports:

"It's been difficult getting up to speed [after signing from Peterborough late in the summer] but I feel like I've started well.

"Lots of my family are Sheffield United fans, they're in Cornwall watching the game so I don't think they'll be happy with me but I've got to do my job haven't I!"

Derby midfielder Mason Mount tells Sky Sports:

"It was very tough, we knew it would be as they're playing well but we stuck with it and got that late winner.

"It was unbelievable being away with the England squad, I learned a lot and enjoyed but that's finished now and my focus is on Derby.

"We've started this week off well but we have to focus and keep improving."

  4. Boro top of the pile

    FT: Derby 2-1 Sheff Utd

So, Middlesbrough end the weekend top of the Championship after Leeds, West Brom and now Sheffield United all lost...

    Championship top six

    Derby 2-1 Sheff Utd

Derby deservedly beat Sheffield United thanks to a second-half goal from Jack Marriott.

Chris Basham had equalised for the Blades before the break after Craig Bryson's strike after just 19 seconds.

It means Sheffield United don't go back to the top, instead they stay second behind Middlesbrough.

Victory for Frank Lampard and his Derby side means they're up to fifth.

  9. Post update

Derby have it where they want it, deep in the Blades half.

And a free-kick is even better, as they tick down the clock.

  11. Post update

  13. CLOSE!

    Derby 2-1 Sheff Utd

    Somehow, Sheffield United haven't equalised.

Scott Carson drops the ball under no pressure at a corner and Jack O'Connell heads the ball goalwards.

Mason Mount is in the right place to hack it off the line.

  15. Fan's frustration is warranted - Hurst

    Reaction: Ipswich 0-2 QPR

    QPR celebrate at Ipswich

After being comfortably beaten at home 2-0 by QPR to go bottom of the table, under-pressure Ipswich boss Paul Hurst told BBC Radio Suffolk:

"We were second best. From start to finish, we didn't win enough second balls.

"I've not been involved in a run of games where there have been so many soft goals given away. As a manager or a player, I honestly can't remember a season like it.

"You can see the fans are desperate for things to get better. I can't say the frustration is not warranted.

"We have to be realistic. That [a relegation battle] is what we're in at the moment. We have to face up to the situation we're in. We're not the best team in the league - that is blatantly obvious. So we have to find ways to make it more difficult [for opponents]."

    Derby 2-1 Sheff Utd

Northern Ireland striker Conor Washington has been sent on to try and score his first Sheffield United goal and get them a point.

Defender Chris Basham - scorer of their goal tonight - goes off.

  17. GOAL: Derby 2-1 Sheff Utd

    Jack Marriott

Jack Marriott has been getting closer and closer this evening, this chance was the hardest of the lot.

The Derby striker runs across the near post to flick in a Craig Forsyth cross, with the ball nestling in the far bottom corner.

    Well deserved.

    Derby 1-1 Sheff Utd

The first player in the book is Sheffield United goalscorer Chris Basham.

Derby's Tom Lawrence knocks the ball past him down the left wing, but that was as far as Basham was letting him get.
