    Barcelona 5-1 Lyon

Lyon have two minutes of stoppage time to score four goals.

Somehow, I can't see that happening.

  2. Post update

There will be four English teams in the draw for the quarter-finals on Friday for the first time since 2008.

    Manchester City

    Manchester United

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

Stephen Hutchings: Will never be a better time for an English club to win the Champions League than this season, quality of the big boys is so poor this season.

David Howell: Talk about a statement from Liverpool... and it's Bye-ern Munich!

Richard Browne: Stunning second half from Liverpool. Stunning.

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

Andy Robertson just takes down Leon Goretzka and goes in the book. He'll miss the first leg of the quarter-final.

Very, very bad news for Liverpool.

  6. GOAL - Barcelona 5-1 Lyon

    Ousmane Dembele

    Ousmane Dembele

Lionel Messi plays Ousmane Dembele in down the left and he coolly slots it through the keeper's legs.

Two goals and two assists for Messi. Anything Ronaldo does, he can do.

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

Three minutes to go. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is the only thing you can hear now.

  8. Post update

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

    Mark Lawrenson

Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tactically Liverpool have got this second half 100% right. We said at half-time for Liverpool to keep it tight at the back, but still remain a threat and that is what they have done.

  9. Post update

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

The Allianz Arena is emptying pretty quickly. Liverpool fans' voices are roaring though. They're heading into the quarter-finals and they love it.

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

James Milner has done a sterling job. He's replaced by Adam Lallana and gets a huge bear hug from Jurgen Klopp on the sidelines.

Virgil van Dijk takes over with the armband.

  11. GOAL - Barcelona 4-1 Lyon

    Gerard Pique

    Gerard Pique

Lionel Messi carries the ball all the way from the halfway line, dribbling into the box before sliding it across to the back post where Gerard Pique has come charging. He pokes it into the back of the net.

    Game over Lyon.

  12. 'Absolutely brilliant'

    Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

    Mark Lawrenson

Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The quality of the ball from Mo Salah is absolutely brilliant, outside of the left foot, behind Hummels and there is Mane. A brilliant, brilliant goal.

  13. GOAL - Bayern Munich 1-3 Liverpool

    Sadio Mane

    Sadio Mane scores

Liverpool are heading to the quarters!

Mohamed Salah plays a lovely ball into the box with the outside of his foot and Sadio Mane rises highest to nod it into the net.

    His second of the night!

    Bayern Munich 1-2 Liverpool

Roberto Firmino has done his job. Divock Origi is on for Liverpool.

  15. GOAL - Barcelona 3-1 Lyon

    Lionel Messi

    Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba

Lionel Messi sends Marcelo one way, jinks onto his right and strokes it towards goal. The keeper should do better, but it dribbles past him and into the right corner.

    Barcelona 2-1 Lyon

Maxwel Cornet replaces Ferland Mendy. Lyon have got three forwards on the pitch now.

  17. Post update

    Bayern Munich 1-2 Liverpool

Bayern look like they have ran out of ideas. Virgil van Dijk tells Joel Matip to cover him as he pushes up on Kingsley Coman.

Matip is there to get a block in and Liverpool move straight into the attack.

Cheshbear: Bayern need to score two goals in 15 minutes. Can't forget Lewandowski scored five in something like 12 minutes. From a not entirely settled Liverpool fan.

Mark Davies: Van Dijk must be the premier central defender in football. He scores goals, he has great positional sense, he can play and is calm and composed. If I was Zidane, I would ask Liverpool to name their price.

Amrul Choudhury: This is by far the worst Bayern Munich side I have seen. There is a reason why James Rodriguez did not make it at Real Madrid. Wholesale changes needed for Bayern.

  19. CLOSE!

    Bayern Munich 1-2 Liverpool

Mohamed Salah and Georginio Wijnaldum combine nicely down the right to set off a Liverpool counter-attack.

It comes to Roberto Firmino in the centre and he moves onto his right foot before shooting straight at Manuel Neuer.

  20. Post update

    Bayern Munich 1-2 Liverpool

That was Virgil van Dijk's first goal in the Champions League. He has been involved in both goals today and in four goals in his last four appearances in all competitions (3 goals - 1 assist).
