'We were lucky on occasions'
FT: Chelsea 3-2 Derby
Chelsea
Chelsea assistant manager Gianfranco Zola speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a tough game tonight. They were excellent. They created us more problems. Our defence wasn't as good as other times. But most of the problems were created by them.
"We were in control until about 10-15 minutes to go. In those moments we thought about scoring too much. When you open up against a team with that quality, it is 50-50. We were lucky on occasions.
"We are in a moment when we are trying to establish our philosophy and the game we play. There is a trophy. We want to try to win it so we will take it seriously."
On drawing Bournemouth: "There are no easy games. They did really well [against Chelsea in the Premier League] and were unlucky on a few occasions. They should have scored."

'Morata is an in and out player'
Chelsea 3-2 Derby
Andy Townsend
Ex-Chelsea midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live
Of the players that started, Ruben Loftus-Cheek did will.
It's not a position that absolutely suits him, he is ideally a midfield player but I thought he did well.
Morata is still an in and out player for me.
Willian is a fixture in the Chelsea team, he's got no worries.
'I'm a lucky man to have a night like that'
Chelsea 3-2 Derby
Derby boss Frank Lampard on Sky Sports: "I'm disappointed. I think we deserved a draw on chances created.
"The difference between the sides was they scored three... actually we scored four didn't we? I joke because i'm proud. Talking to their staff they're saying we're playing well.
"I respect this club, I don't have to talk about this club. I'm proud of my players.
"My players had to really selfless stuff. Who goes through clear against Chelsea like we did on goal? We created chances.
"There will be recovery for two days and we'll think about Birmingham.
"We've shown what we can do against Manchester United and today, and the standard is set. If we play like that we will win games.
"I'm so thankful to the Chelsea fans. I left through the back door and it upset me at the time but I have nothing but great memories of this place and they thank me like that. I'm a lucky man to have a night like that and I feel it."

Ex-Chelsea midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live
I have seen Derby play a few times and I've actually seen them play better than they have tonight.
There were periods tonight where Chelsea, who were the better team on the evening, were given a lot to think about by Derby.
