  1. League Cup awaits next

    St Johnstone and Celtic must both lick their wounds ahead of Wednesday's League Cup quarter-final at McDiarmid Park.

    Rampant Rangers host Ayr United that night as former Ibrox winger Ian McCall brings his in-form Championship leaders to Glasgow. A mouthwatering tie.

    Before then, Hibs entertain Aberdeen in the first of the quarter-finals on Tuesday.

  2. It's been a long day

    Killie fans might want to relive that fine win for their side, so here's a link to Jamie Lyall's match report.

    Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland that Celtic fans should be alarmed by that defeat.

  3. Celtic's worst start in 20 years

    Earlier, former Celtic youth defender Stuart Findlay scored with a late header as Brendan Rodgers' side slumped to a 2-1 defeat away to Kilmarnock.

    It leaves Hearts five points clear at the top of the table, with Celtic slipping behind their Ayrshire hosts on goal difference into sixth.

    That's Celtic's worst start to a league season for 20 years.

  4. Rangers up to second

    FT: Rangers 5-1 St Johnstone

    Rangers and St Johnstone started the day level on points, but the gulf between them was wider than the three-point difference that follows the thrashing the Perth side have just received at Ibrox.

    Steven Gerrard's side move up six places to second in the Premiership table, above Hibs and Livingston on goal difference and five behind leaders Hearts.

    St Johnstone stay in eighth.

  5. FULL-TIME Rangers 5-1 St Johnstone

    Rangers had their usual celebration of Armed Forces Day before kick-off and they have blown St Johnstone away on the park.

    Captain James Tavernier got the ball rolling with a fine free-kick and Alfredo Morelos added the second before the break.

    Scott Arfield and Kyle Lafferty settled the game as a contest before Blair Alston replied from the penalty spot and Daniel Candeias restored the four-goal advantage.
