St Mirren manager Oran Kearney on Sportsound: "Delighted. The performance more than anything brings the most delight. It's something you want in every side.

"A game under the lights, there's something about that - it gives it that buzz.

Officials disappoint Rodgers

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on Sportsound: "We didn't start the game well.

"Disappointed with the sending off. I thought we played well with 10. Didn't have that final pass. The players gave everything. It's another clean sheet.

"I don't like to go on too much [about officials]. There were quite a few incidents tonight where their view of the game was totally different from most. It certainly wasn't one of their better games."

You can't under-estimate just how brilliant a performance that was from St Mirren - physically, emotionally, tactically. They thoroughly deserved a point, even I felt psychologically they settle for it early in the second half, when they might have been a bit braver. But to a man, they were absolutely superb. Celtic's first-half performance was abject. They huffed and puffed in the second half, but never really threatened to break St Mirren down
