  1. What will happen elsewhere on Saturday?

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

That's it from me... you can follow all the rest of Saturday's action here.

For Phil McNulty's match report from Wembley, go here.

    Cheerio.

  2. 'Listen, don't worry about me!'

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

    Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino speaking to Sky Sports: "Liverpool were better. We competed, we were close, and the action at the end of the game was crazy and the challenge on Son at the end should have been a penalty. Then the result would have been different.

"Of course I am disappointed with the result but we must keep working and improving. Today was a competitive game you can win or you can lose. There are lots of games ahead.

"There are lots of things to assess and analyse - it's early in the season and this is a moment to be cool and calm. Is this a tough time? Listen, don't worry about me!"

  3. 'That was a tough game, man!'

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to Sky Sports: "That was very, very good. It was an intense job to do and the boys did it.

"We deserved to win that game today. Over 85 minutes we were really dominant. With and without the ball we caused them massive problems. The things they usually do usually work, but they didn't today. The boys stuck to our plan today and it was really good - everybody worked so hard in what was a good performance.

"That was our best game of the season and the performance was much better than the result.

"That was a tough game, man! Two good teams, two big teams, football as it should be. We won the game and if we win at Tottenham it's a big result. The players did the job and they worked unbelievable hard, and I'm really proud of them."

  4. 'Liverpool came through the test'

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

    Alex Scott

Ex-Arsenal Ladies & England international on Final Score

It was a well deserved win for Liverpool. They were totally in control, they looked impressive, they knew when to speed up and slow the play down.

People look at this Liverpool side at the way they have started the season and say they should have won those games. Today was the test and came through it.

  6. Scores on the doors

Online, BBC Red Button and BBC One

    Final Score

You can follow all the goals around the grounds this afternoon as Final Score swings into action.

In the analysts' hotseats are 140-times capped for England defender, Alex Scott, alongside ex-Manchester United and Leicester City forward Dion Dublin.

The show started at 14:30 BST and runs through to 17:30 BST online at the top of this page, as well as on the BBC Red Button. Around the full-time whistles expect to see the show pop up on BBC One.

  7. Should Liverpool have had early goal ruled out?

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

It is something of an irrelevance now, seeing as the Reds went on to win anyway, but - talking of decisions - Liverpool felt a big one went against them in the very first minute when Roberto Firmino's goal was disallowed for offside.

Were referee Michael Oliver and his officials right? Here is the guidance from the Premier League Match Centre:

Sadio Mane is in an offside position as James Milner crosses the ball into the penalty area. The ball deflects off Firmino and Toby Alderweireld into the net. Mane, still in an offside position, clearly attempts to play the ball and impacts the goalkeeper’s decision making and ability to make a save.

Michael Scarn: I'm no Spurs fan, but that was a clear penalty - Mané trips Son over. What exactly is the linesman doing?

Daniel Potter: Now a stonewall penalty not given - Thanks Michel Oliver you've got your Liverpool win.

Ruz: And in the end Spurs denied a possible point by an awful decision from the ref. Clear penalty turned down at the death.

  9. Should Spurs have had a penalty?

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

Spurs have lost back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since the final two games of the 2015-16 season.

There is a bit of debate about whether they could have had a penalty from that last-gasp Heung-min Son chance - he was challenged by Sadio Mane inside the area - but surely no debate at all that they were seriously below-par today

Aaron: Mane and Salah seem desperate to get goals, goals, goals. Not a bad trait for strikers but it came as the expense of team play today and a scoreline that probably would have looked far more comfortable.

Nick Hughes: Liverpool won, great result, but there was a lot of selfishness today - particularly from Mané and Salah; Klopp was going berserk at their decisions. That must stop.

  11. 'Liverpool look the business'

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

    Chris Waddle

Ex-Spurs and England winger at Wembley for 5 live Sport

Liverpool deserved the win, despite the little flurry from Tottenham at the end. Over the 95 minutes the visitors were the better side and could have had four or even five with their effective attacking on the break.

We all thought Liverpool would challenge for the title this season and so far they look the business. They have the Champions League starting and the cup competitions to come so we'll see how they get on, but it's a strong start.

Klopp has the squad for it and this is the year that, if you're Klopp, you've got to win a trophy.

    Liverpool celebrate
  12. Liverpool maintain their 100% start

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

So, that's back-to-back defeats for Spurs, but five wins out of five for Liverpool.

They are clear at the top of the table, at least until Watford and Chelsea - the other teams with 100% records - play later this afternoon.

  13. FULL-TIME

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

Until today, Jurgen Klopp had won away at every London Premier League club apart from Tottenham, and had never won a competitive game at Wembley.

    Until today...

  14. 'A great strike right into the far corner'

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

    Chris Waddle

Ex-Spurs and England winger at Wembley for 5 live Sport

Another goal from a set-piece and wow, what a great finish by Lamela! He chests it high off his body and, as the ball falls, it's a great strike right into the far corner.

    Erik Lamela
  15. A late chance for Spurs

    Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

There are not many Spurs fans left in the stadium but the ones that are, are getting very excited.

Tottenham come forward, looking to complete the most unlikely of comebacks but Heung-min Son takes an extra touch inside the box, and the chance to get a shot away is gone.

  16. GOAL - Tottenham 1-2 Liverpool

    Erik Lamela

    Hang on, what's this...

A corner is allowed to come through all the way to Erik Lamela at the back post and he brings the ball down before burying it with a sweet finish.

On the touchline, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is laughing. He's been lambasting his side for not putting this game to bed.

  17. INJURY TIME

    Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool

There will be five minutes of added time at Wembley.

  18. Reds 'well-organised all over the pitch'

    Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool

    Chris Waddle

Ex-Spurs and England winger at Wembley for 5 live Sport

Liverpool have been the better side and could have put this to bed in the second half. They are well-organised all over the pitch, better energy levels.

If you are going to win the league you have to make sure you win even when you don't play brilliantly - that's what Liverpool are doing today.

    Sadio Mane
  19. SUBSTITUTION

    Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool

Another change for Liverpool. Joel Matip on for Trent Alexander-Arnold. Joe Gomez has gone to right-back, with Joel Matip in the centre alongside Virgil van Dijk.

Another chance for Liverpool too. Again, Sadio Mane chooses to shoot, rather than play in a team-mate, leaving Jurgen Klopp exasperated when his effort flies over.
