That confident victory for Bristol City lifts them up to sixth in the Championship table for the international break.
Blackburn were ultimately disappointing, despite taking an early lead at Ashton Gate.
That concludes today's Championship action, after a 1-1 draw earlier between rivals Ipswich and Norwich at Portman Road.
