    Brazil v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    It's lunchtime after all...

But if neither whets your appetite how about three ways to stop Neymar, Lukaku spying and a new kid of patriotism?

It's all in the View from Both Camps article here,

Saeema: Our team drew Uruguay in the sweepstake, so we're heavily invested in the 3pm kick off. It's still coming home though. Our spin on pin the tail on the donkey.

I must admit Saeema, I've never played 'pin the teeth on the Suarez' before. Is the game transferable? Can I import any worldwide sportsman?

  7. Red hot or ready to leak?

    Brazil v Belgium (19:00 BST)

    Roberto Martinez

Belgium's run of 18 wins and five draws is the longest unbeaten streak of any side left in the tournament.

History shows they offer up chances when it comes to the World Cup knockout stage though having conceded 28 times in 12 knockout matches.

  8. Imitation the sincerest form of flattery

Another theme of the World Cup - for England fans anyway - has been Gareth Southgate and his dapper waistcoat on the touchline.

It looks like the manager's style choice is proving popular.

Nice work Glen. I see a few pizza boxes too. Good to see gaming being taken seriously.

  10. Too much Fortnite?

    France v Uruguay (15:00 BST)

It's been one of the talking points of the World Cup...

Fortnite - the game which has influenced goal celebrations by players such as Antoine Griezmann and Jesse Lingard.

it looks like Griezmann has been flat-out plotting his next one here...

Better hope his energy is back shortly.

  11. Ed's message

    Uruguay v France (15:00)

Edinson Cavani has just tweeted this tribute to his country's fans along with a nice video of supporters showing their emotions.

Lovely stuff Edinson but can you tell us if you're fit to play?

    Nice one.

  13. 'Shoot, score, walk back'

    Video content

Video caption: Kids share their tips on penalties, from placement of the ball, to handling the pressure.

    Speaking of Harry...

This brilliant video from Match of the Day kickabout shows kids sharing their tips on taking penalties with Lauren Layfield…the young 'uns cover everything from placement of the ball, to handling the pressure.

Their advice for Harry Kane (as if he needs it!) and his team-mates: “Just shoot, score, and walk back!”

    Simple as that!

  14. Big pressure on Luis...

    Uruguay v France (15:00)

    Suarez

If Edinson Cavani does not win his fitness race to take part today, more responsibility will fall to Luis Suarez, who has two goals at the World Cup this time around.

He ran relentlessly against Portugal last time out in a selfless display and there is no doubt he will again have to be at his best if France are to be toppled.

The French are unbeaten in their last nine World Cup matches against South American sides (W5, D4), keeping a clean sheet in seven of those games.

They've got the measure of teams from that part of the world it seems.

  15. 'It is great to see Jesse flourishing'

Rio Ferdinand's column about his old Manchester United team-mate Jesse Lingard today is well worth a read.

He explains why he believes the forward is the right man to help England beat Sweden in their quarter-final tomorrow.

"What makes him so good are the things he has always had, since I first saw him play as a young boy: game intelligence, speed of movement as well as speed of thought, the ability to play one or two-touch football and an eye for goal."

    It's all here.

    France Dressing Room

The French dressing room is ready and they'll be in their away colours.

The big question is in the other dressing room, will Edinson Cavani's shirt hang where the starting line-up sit or with the substitutes?

Their two-goal hero against Portugal, will he win his fitness battle?

His team could equal a national record by winning five consecutive games at a single World Cup and reach the semi-final for the fifth time in history.
