  1. Game one: done

    FT: Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

And so a dramatic play-off semi-final ends with both sides feeling they can force their way to Wembley in the second leg.

Meanwhile, Scunthorpe's unbeaten run continues but can they make it count when the two teams face each other again on Wednesday?

Game one of our four-game EFL play-off semi-final smorgasbord is over. Up next - Lincoln v Exeter. You can follow all the action from that game by clicking here.

For now, thank you for joining us.

  2. 'This team don't know how to be beaten'

    FT: Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

Scunthorpe United caretaker Nick Daws told Sky Sports:

"I thought it was two very good teams with contrasting styles going at each other for 90 minutes and we showed an immense amount of character to equalise.

"I don't think this team knows how to be beaten and that's not tempting fate. We've grown in confidence over eight games now and we're fearless.

"We weren't at our best today but we had to find another way to get back into the game and Cameron has been threatening that for a few months and he's got his just rewards."

  3. 'I would have taken a point'

    FT: Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

Rotherham United midfielder Ryan Williams told Sky Sports:

"Before the game if you'd have given us a point I would have taken it so I'm happy.

"We've played them twice before and it was the same. Hopefully there's more football to be played at our ground. I'll take 2-2 and a draw back to our place.

"I think it's a different game for us at home. In away games we like to defend quite narrow whilst at home we like to be expansive."

    Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

It's all over at Glanford Park and it's a stalemate going into the League One play-off semi-final second leg.

    Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

Ryan Williams comes off for Rotherham and is replaced by Anthony Forde.

    Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

A late substitution for the hosts. Tom Hopper comes on for Ivan Toney.

Nick Daws freshening up the attack for a late surge on goal?

  7. Post update

    Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

A whopping seven minutes have been added on, here.

Can Scunthorpe use this momentum to find a third? As it stands their unbeaten run is intact.

  8. GOAL: Scunthorpe 2-2 Rotherham

    Cameron McGeehan

    Scunthorpe equaliser

    Talk about a goalmouth scramble.

A throw-in comes into the box and somehow about five Rotherham defenders can't seem to clear the ball away and Cameron McGeehan is on hand to tap in from close range, after Michael Ihiekwe gets in the way of keeper Marek Rodak scooping it up.

Not the best afternoon for the Rotherham defender.

  9. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Big shouts for a penalty from the home support as Funso Ojo falls to the ground but the referee is unmoved.

Television replays show there's not a great deal of contact in the build-up to the Belgian going down.

  10. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

    Rotherham fans

6,591 in attendance at Glanford Park this afternoon and a sold out away following have almost seen a cracker of a third goal for their side.

Ryan Williams turns and shoots from just outside the 18-yard line, but it sails narrowly wide of the post.

  11. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Almost a defensive mix-up from Scunthorpe, then. Joe Newell is pervasive in his pursuit of the ball as he tries to find a pathway through the box towards goal.

But his efforts are thwarted by the referee as he concedes a free-kick to Scunthorpe defender Murray Wallace.

  12. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Josh Morris plays a low cross into the box and Rotherham defend well to clear it away for a corner.

But the hosts squander it and the Millers break upfield. Fortunately for Scunthorpe they manage to win the ball back.

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Could Scunthorpe's eight-game unbeaten run be coming to an end?

As we enter the final stages, Nick Daws throws on Cameron McGeehan for Hakeeb Adelakun as they chase an equaliser.

  14. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Michael Smith beats a series of Scunthorpe defenders as he jinks his way into the box to shoot but it's blocked away.

Semi Ajayi is on hand to fire from long range but it's about 15 yards wide of the target.

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Richard Towell comes off for Rotherham to a standing ovation by the travelling support. He's replaced by Semi Ajayi.

  16. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Josh Morris puts in a high knee on Michael Ihiekwe and looks to have made contact with his head but fortunately the Rotherham defender is okay to continue.

Just over 20 minutes of normal time remain. Can the hosts get back on level terms?

  17. Post update

    Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

Scunthorpe aren't out of this. Duane Holmes sprints down the right flank and turns in a shot which is palmed out by Marek Rodak into the path of Ivan Toney.

But the Scunthorpe forward hits the post with his close-range strike.

  18. GOAL: Scunthorpe 1-2 Rotherham

    Joe Newell

    Joe Newell scores for Rotherham

Now that's what you call an impact sub!

Joshua Emmanuel gets a ball into the box, Richard Towell attempts an acrobatic bicycle kick but instead it falls to Joe Newell whose first chance since coming on results in a goal with a lovely acute angle strike from inside the box.

    Scunthorpe 1-1 Rotherham

Now Rotherham United make a change. Goalscorer Jon Taylor is replaced by Joe Newell.

    Scunthorpe 1-1 Rotherham

Matt Gilks is down again, this time after coming off worse in a challenge for the ball with Rotherham's Jon Taylor.

He's hauled off in place of Rory Watson.
