  1. Post update

Right then, that is all from me for this afternoon. But you can follow all the reaction to today's games over here.

    Until the next time!

    Liverpool 4-0 Brighton

That is that! Next stop Kiev for Liverpool. What a day for Mohamed Salah.

    Mo Salah and Jurgen Klopp
  3. Post update

    Liverpool 4-0 Brighton

    TWO minutes added on.

  4. Post update

    Liverpool 4-0 Brighton

Brighton look pretty spent now. But they can look back on this season - their first in the top flight since 1983 - with pride.

For Liverpool - there is a sterner test to come in Kiev on 26 May. Never mind the price of the tickets/flights/hotel, how much would a 4-0 win like this be worth?

  5. 'All eyes on Kiev'

Andrew Robertson keeps his cool, and keeps his head, and he deserves that goal. That sums up the team Jurgen Klopp has built here with full-backs consistently getting forward. All eyes on Kiev.

  6. GOAL - Liverpool 4-0 Brighton

    Andrew Robertson

He deserves it. What a great season Andrew Robertson is having - and here he is wheeling off in joyful celebration having swept in his first goal for the club. Danny Ings' cross isn't cleared, and the full-back pounces on the loose ball, driving it home. Plain sailing.

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Mohamed Salah is coming off - he's a bit upset, he wants to score more. Only a bit though.

Roberto Firmino leaves too. Danny Ings and Ben Woodburn come on.

  8. Post update

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Mohamed Salah is still on the pitch of course. Would Klopp take him off? Should he? Maybe Salah just wants to get that goal tally as high as possible.

Not much time left to do it.

  9. Post update

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Oof. Adrenaline levels. Adam Lallana immediately in the thick of it as he catches Dale Stephens with a late pair of wandering studs. He gets a ticking off, nothing more.

    About 15 to play.

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Sadio Mane, see you in Kiev. He trots off and is replaced by Adam Lallana - who has not played since March because of a hamstring injury. A handy return.

  11. Post update

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Loris Karius catches Solly March with a fist intended to clear a loose ball, March is down and hurt inside the box but there's no foul. Maybe the referee didn't see it as one but the flag was up anyway. March looks OK now.

  12. Post update

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Swagger mode now. The home fans are enjoying this. And with the Champions League final to come in 13 days' time, things are looking pretty good for Liverpool.

Just over 20 minutes to play for those who might be worrying about any injuries...

  13. Post update

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Half-hearted shouts for a penalty as Mohamed Salah slips in the box, Mat Ryan scoops up the loose ball. He just lost his footing.

Newcastle are beating Chelsea 3-0 now.

    Mohamed Salah
  14. Post update

    Tottenham 4-3 Leicester

More news from elsewhere - Totttenham are beating Leicester 4-3 at home now. They have come from behind, and Liverpool will have to settle for fourth in the table as things stand.

No matter though - all the top four enter at the group stage next season.

  15. Post update

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Shane Duffy had the wind knocked out of him after landing badly from a corner clearance, but he's back up now after a bit of treatment and will be fine.

  16. Post update

    Newcastle 2-0 Chelsea

More news from St James' Park - Chelsea are two goals down. Ayoze Perez.

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

Roberto Firmino has to score - with a free shot on goal from Mohamed Salah's clever flick - but Mat Ryan springs up and tips his close-range finish over the bar. Fantastic stop.

    Roberto Firmino
  18. 'Fantastic finish'

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

    Pat Nevin

Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

It's a fantastic finish but the play in the build-up tells you why Mo Salah is so effective. He has taken three players out of the game before playing it into Dominic Solanke, who does the rest.

    Liverpool 3-0 Brighton

    Two changes for Brighton:

Jurgen Locadia makes way for Glenn Murray up top - Brighton's top scorer is on the pitch.

Beram Kayal is off and Pascal Gross on in midfield.

Nick Hughes: Finally for Solanke! Cracking finish too, only place to put it to beat the keeper.

steel1404: Scored some great goals this season but in many ways Solanke’s is one of my favourites...happy for the lad, has real potential.
