And that is that. Burnley lose their seventh game at Turf Moor this season as Bournemouth roar back from being a goal behind to win in the sunshine.
Well I didn't see that coming. In quite that way. And it's all down to an unfortunate slip by the Burnley defender Kevin Long which allows Jermain Defoe to race clear and play Callum Wilson in for what looks likely to be the winner.Copyright: Getty Images
Now that was close. Callum Wilson is inches away from scoring with a 20-yarder for Bournemouth but it flashes to the left of Nick Pope's goal.
Bournemouth are looking the stronger here but a Jordon Ibe corner is comfortably caught by Burnley keeper Nick Pope.
Do either sied have the energy and quality to find a winning goal?
Bournemouth's Steve Cook looks in some discomfort after falling awkwardly while Burnley introduce Nahki Wells for Johann Berg Gudmundsson.
Wells immediately trots forward to join Sam Vokes, will the little and large combination bring a winner for the hosts?
It's game on now. Have we got a winner in this?
Pick that one out.
Josh King dances inside off the left and curls a delicious shot into the far corner. Absolutely no chance for the Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope, who had made a brilliant save seconds before to deny Jermain Defoe a goal.Copyright: Getty Images
Big big shout for a penalty from the Bournemouth players and it looks as though they have a decent case.
Josh King sells Aaron Lennon a dummy in the penalty area and goes down as his opposite number sweeps his leg away without touching the ball. Burnley have got away with that.
Here comes Jermain Defoe for Bournemouth. And it's Tyrone Mings who makes way.
The defender whose career has been blighted by injuries - looked to have jarred his knee a few moment before. Not good news.
Sam Vokes is on for Burnley to replace Chris Wood who took a knock a few moments ago and looks to be struggling as he goes off.
Close but not close enough. Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe collects the ball inside the Burnley penalty area, takes a touch right and drives one towards the far post but it goes just wide.Copyright: Getty Images
Double change for Bournemouth as Emerson Hyndman and Lys Mousset make way for Dan Gosling and Callum Wilson.
It's as if we're repeating the pattern of the first period. As here come Burnley.
Jeff Hendrick's effort does not lack power but is a bit too central to trouble Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic who gobbles it up.
Bournemouth have not one but two chances to level from the corner. Josh King somehow finds himself all alone at the back post but enough home defenders recover to block his left-foot shot.
Nathan Ake then heads wide with a slight deflection off a Burnley player when the ball is returned into the mixer.
Lys Mousset gets in down the left here for Bournemouth but Kevin Long is across to cover for Burnley at the expense of a corner.
Burnley get us started for the second period.
I wonder what Eddie Howe is saying to his players in the visitors dressing room right now? Perhaps he's just telling them to pull their shooting boots out of the kit skip.
Bournemouth have had chances but their finishing has been woeful so far.
It's fair to say this has been a slow burn and had a testimonial feel about it for the opening 25 minutes.
Since then though Burnley have gradually started to gain control and scored albeit with a touch of fortune.
Sean Dyche's team have a good record at home to Bournemouth winning eight and drawing six of their 14 meetings. Can they maintain it?
