  1. Over and out

Well, I'm afraid the weather has brought a premature end to tonight's proceedings in the Irish Premiership, with Storm Eleanor causing the abandonment of all three fixtures, which will now have to be re-played at a later date, along with the two games which were postponed on Monday.

We'll be back on Saturday with live coverage of the 16 scheduled fifth-round ties in the Irish Cup. Let's hope the weather picks up before then!

    Bye for now.

  2. Storm Eleanor the winner

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

The match between Ards and Glenavon at Bangor has also now been abandoned because of concerns over the safety of players and spectators because of the high winds. The decision came after just a few minutes of the second half had been played.

That's all three games called off tonight

  3. Players off the pitch

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

Referee Lee Tavinder has taken the players off the pitch at Bangor, although reports indicate that the game has not yet been abandoned.

Supporters are reported to have been evacuated from a stand and advertising hoardings around the pitch are coming loose.

  4. Still playing

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

The wind is swirling around the pitch and making things very difficult for the players at the Bangor Fuels Arena but we are underway for the second half.

Reports of lights flickering on and off but play continues for now.

  5. Solitude match abandoned

    Cliftonville 1-1 Ballymena Utd

The game between Cliftonville and Ballymena United has also been abandoned at half-time because of "adverse weather conditions" at Solitude.

The wind has been strengthening through the course of the evening and the referee has decided to call a halt with safety in mind.

  6. Watch: Cooper makes it 2-0 to Glenavon

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

Watch Joel Cooper grab his second of the match at the Bangor Fuels Arena as Glenavon refuse to be blown off course by Storm Eleanor.

  8. A touch of class from Dean

Former NI player Dean Shiels, who had his right eye removed in 2006, is praised for his professionalism by boss Allan Johnston after Falkirk fans threw fake eyeballs towards the Dunfermline player.

  10. Cooper first half

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

Ards' sequence of four games unbeaten is seriously under threat as they trail 2-0 to Glenavon at the interval.

Joel Cooper with both goals in only his second appearance since returning home from the United States. What an acquisition he looks to be for Gary Hamilton mid-season.

    Cliftonville 1-1 Ballymena Utd

Tony Kane sees his long-range effort brilliantly tipped over for a corner by Brian Neeson.

  12. CLOSE!

    Glentoran 0-0 Warrenpoint Town

The Glens are battling against a powerful wind but they manage to create an opening as Dylan Davidson heads just wide.

  13. GOAL

    Ards 0-2 Glenavon

It's that man Joel Cooper again!

The Glenavon forward turned and smashed low past Sam Johnston into the bottom corner for his second of the game in the 42nd minute, with Jordan Jenkins providing the assist.

Glenavon looking good for a seventh win from their last eight away league matches - last Saturday's defeat at Ballymena the only blot in that record.

  14. Wind woes

    Cliftonville 1-1 Ballymena Utd

The high winds are making it a bit of a lottery at Solitude.

Stephen Garrett takes one touch in centre midfield and the ball is blown out of play for a throw-in.

Gives you some idea of the conditions the players are battling out there tonight.

    Glentoran 0-0 Warrenpoint Town

Warrenpoint have the wind advantage in the first half and they almost capitalise with Lorcan Forde hitting the inside of the post before Glens defender Calum Birney clears off the line from a corner. The rain has stopped but Storm Eleanor is making a visit to the Oval.

  16. CLOSE!

    Ards 0-1 Glenavon

Jordan Jenkins squanders a couple of good chances to extend Glenavon's lead, shooting wide and heading over the bar.

Substitute Andy McGrory set up Jenkins on both occasions, having come on to replace Josh Daniels.

  17. Post update

    Cliftonville 1-1 Ballymena Utd

Cathair Friel pulls up while running and hobbles off injured for Ballymena, with Joe McKinney coming on as his replacement.

Looks like an ankle injury for the Ballymena striker, but we await confirmation of the nature and extent of the problem.

  18. Watch: Joel Cooper puts Glenavon ahead against Ards
