  1. Good night

FT: Celtic 4-0 Linfield (agg. 6-0)

That's all from me. Thanks for your company on a comfortable evening for Celtic and a tough exercise for Linfield.

It wasn't such a good night for Scotland's women at Euro 2017... They were hammered 6-0 by England. Ouch!

Aberdeen are in action tomorrow in Bosnia, taking a 1-1 draw into their second leg with Siroki Brijeg.

We'll have that Europa League qualifier covered, so make sure you join us again.

  2. FULL-TIME Buckie Thistle 0-3 Dundee United

Three first half goals moved Dundee United three points clear at the top of League Cup Group C as they eased past Buckie Thistle at Victoria Park.

Paul McMullen got them underway when he finished a Billy King cross, and shortly after it was 2-0 when King scored with a long range shot.

Mark Durnan volleyed in a third to give the visitors a commanding half-time lead against the Highland League side.

The result was marred though with United striker James Keatings carried off with a bad looking injury to his left leg.

The result gives Ray McKinnon's men six points out of six following the 2-0 win on Saturday over Raith Rovers.

FT: Celtic 4-0 Linfield (agg. 6-0)

Linfield boss David Healy talking to BBC Radio Scotland:

"Celtic are a quality side and they have players all over the park that can hurt you.

"The only disappointing thing over the two legs is that the goals Celtic got were kind of scruffy goals.

"We can't be too disappointed. We're a part-time side, we need to get back because the players are working tomorrow.

"Hopefully the players can take something away from the experience.

"Brendan is a class act. He came into the dressing room and shook hands with everyone."

That first leg against Rosenborg will be at Celtic Park next Wednesday.

  5. Post update

FT: Celtic 4-0 Linfield (agg. 6-0)

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on BBC Radio Scotland:

"I thought we played well. Our positioning was better than in the first game, we got in between their lines.

"We go into these games with real confidence and the players worked so hard.

"Roy Carroll, over the course of two legs, has made some fantastic saves. Linfield have had an experience that will live with them for the rest of their lives, playing at a full Celtic Park.

"We'll be ready for next Wednesday, we'll be another week into our fitness, but it will be tough over the two games."

FT: Celtic 4-0 Linfield (agg. 6-0)

Brendan Rodgers will be pleased with the intensity from his side and I guess he'll let the missed chances from the first half slide after Celtic knocked in three after the break.

There will be a big step up next week against Rosenborg, who used to be group stage regulars in this competition and who are halfway into their domestic season, where they sit top of the pile.

  8. FULL-TIME Celtic 4-0 Linfield (agg. 6-0)

That's it. A comprehensive win for the Scottish champions who will now meet Rosenborg of Norway in the next round.

Scott Sinclair scored twice, with Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong also on target.

    Stuart Armstrong

Tom Rogic weaves his way past a couple of tired challenges before a defender gets a foot to the ball. However, it breaks to Stuart Armstrong who sweeps a shot home.

The bad news for the visitors is that Celtic now have two flying wingers on, with Jonny Hayes racing down the left at every opportunity and Kundai Benyu looking molto rapido down the right.
