    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

The ugly scenes from half-time rear their head again as some Palace fans battle with security near the tunnel, trying to make their feelings well known to the Palace players.

A chastening day for all at Selhurst Park.

  3. FULL-TIME

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

A dire day for Palace but a superb one for Sunderland.

A real tonic in their bid to beat the drop but is Big Sam's record of never getting relegated in real danger this season?

On this evidence, you'd have to say so.

File this under frustration - Jason Puncheon kicking out and getting a yellow for his troubles.

  8. CLOSE!

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

Much better from Zaha, teeing up Benteke brilliantly with a cut back from the left but the Belgian pokes it wide with a messy touch.

  9. Post update

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

Remy again. Straight at the keeper again.

This time hit with a little more power from the left side of the area but another easy save for Mannone.

  10. Post update

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

This sums Palace up, Loic Remy slicing his way through the defence on a brilliant solo run, only to dribble an effort straight into Vito Mannone's arms.

  11. SUBSTITUTION

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

Well he carried on gamely for a while but Adnan Januzaj does now have to come off, with Steven Pienaar the man to replace him.

  12. Post update

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

Januzaj is down with what looks like cramp or could be something worse. A brief pause to proceedings here.

  13. CLOSE!

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

Ooof, it's very nearly five as Adnan Januzaj fires a shot just wide of Wayne Hennessey's left-hand post.

Palace gave him so much space, yet again.

  14. YELLOW CARD

Lamine Kone has slightly blotted his copybook on an otherwise excellent afternoon as he chucks the ball away to prevent Palace taking a quick free-kick and is duly booked.

Benteke fires a poor effort straight into the wall at the subsequent set-piece.

    Woeful.

    Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland

Vito Mannone has gifted Palace a corner here as he touches over Andros Townsend's cross. Seemed like it was going over anyway.

From the resulting corner, the ball ricochets around and Benteke tries a bicycle kick that goes very high over the bar.

The Palace fans refused to give the ball back for a minute there. Perhaps they feel they've suffered enough?
