Barcelona didn't quite get going at the Nou Camp but they are very much in the mix at the top end of La Liga and scrappy 1-0 wins are sometimes just as important as those sparkling displays we've been used to. Three points also in the bag for Juventus which gives them a bit of daylight at the top of Serie A.

That's the end of tonight's European live but there's plenty of football left in the weekend. We'll have coverage of Sunday's Premier League fixtures so hopefully you can join us tomorrow for that.

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

It had to be him, didn't it? Gonzalo Higuain's winner seals a Juve victory against his former side, and extends their lead at the top of Serie A to five points on Roma, who play tomorrow.

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

Tempers flaring, frustrations building, but this one looks to be petering out. Juve tinkering around with it at the back.

    Any more for any more?

  4. CLOSE!

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

This could be it! Dries Mertens has the chance for an equaliser - he's picked out in the box with a low cross from the right and hits it first time - over the bar!

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Well it wasn't the goal bonanza we hoped for. Barcelona perhaps had one eye on next week's trip to face Manchester City so barely broke sweat. The three points are in the bag for Luis Enrique's side which is the most important thing.

Barcelona are two points behind leaders Real Madrid in second place. Granada remain bottom of the table but plenty of encouraging signs for them going forward.

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

FIVE minutes added on in Turin.

Is there one more Napoli chance?

  7. Post update

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Granada waste their free-kick and moments later Alcacer Garcia sends Lionel Messi scurrying clear. It's not the Argentine's night, however, and he shins his chance over the crossbar. Into injury time now, of which there are three additional minutes.

  8. CLOSE!

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

The fall of the dice favours the Old Lady - Napoli aren't having any of the luck. A whipped corner falls at Gianluigi Buffon's doorsetp, but instead of the ball spinning out to a man in Blue the Juventus defence can scramble away to safety.

Amadou Diawara booms one over from the edge of the box.

  9. Post update

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Neymar and Ruben Vezo have a bit of spat. The pair eyeball each other and exchange angry words in Portuguese. The referee is quick to intervene. Four minutes left, can Granada find an equaliser - they have a free-kick in a good position....

  10. CLOSE!

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Javier Mascherano crosses into the box and finds the unmarked Luis Suarez in a great position. However, the striker nods straight into the hands of Granada goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa. That's the kind of chance the former Liverpool man normally puts away.

That's Suarez's last contribution of the night as he is substituted for Alcacer Garcia moments later. He rips the tie-ups off his socks and throws on the floor. Clearly Suarez is frustrated with his own performance. He just hasn't had the rub of the green this evening.

  11. Post update

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

Oh dear. Gonzalo Higuain definitely hasn't read the script.

The Argentina striker can wrap it all up but mis-directs a header worryingly wide as the cross comes in from the right - that man Juan Cuadrado again.

  12. Post update

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Barcelona aren't exactly pushing themselves here with 10 minutes left. Perhaps with one eye on Tuesday's Champions League clash with Manchester City they are trying to save energy.

  13. Post update

    Juventus 2-1 Napoli

Napoli's reply to Juventus' opener - the Jose Callejon goal - was a thing of beauty.

But there's nothing of the sort forthcoming now. Gonzalo Higuain - whether he read the script or not - may well have sealed this win against his former club.

Pepe Reina skips the ball past Mario Mandzukic as the Juve striker hurtles towards stealing it off him in the six-yard box.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

A third and final change by Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz. Arsenal loanee Jon Toral is taken off and replaced by Sergi Samper, who is actually on loan with Granada from tonight's opponents Barcelona. The 20-year-old midfielder is given a generous round of applause by the Nou Camp crowd. Can't help but feel they might feel slightly different if he pops up the equaliser in the last minute.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

Barca boss Luis Enrique feels the need to tweak things in midfield and brings on Andre Gomes for Denis Suarez. Granada also make a switch as a jaded looking Artem Kravets is replaced in attack by David Barral.

  16. GOAL - Juventus 2-1 Napoli

    Gonzalo Higuain

It has happened! Gonzalo Higuain scores against his former club - and it could very well be the winner.

The ball breaks loose in the box and he smashes it home low into the corner - but does not celebrate. After all the acrimony surrounding his Italian record £75m departure, is that hand gesture sort of an apology? Nothing sorry about that finish.

  17. Post update

    Juventus 1-1 Napoli

Still the search for Gonzalo Higuain continues. Every ball Juventus throw forward has the £75m man in its sights.

Juan Cuadrado lofts into the box but the tightly-packed Napoli cluster gets the upper hand again.

Hernanes changes up and booms from range, but into the giant legs of Kalidou Koulibaly.

  18. Post update

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

A counter attack from Granada sees Jeremie Boga find himself in a good position inside the box, but he's a touch greedy and goes for goal rather than try to find a team-mate and Barcelona snuff out the danger.

  19. CLOSE!

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

This is more like it from Barcelona. Sergi Roberto bursts forward from right-back and whips a dangerous early cross for Neymar. The Brazilian deftly controls it and forces Guillermo Ochoa to make a superb diving save with a blistering shot.

    Barcelona 1-0 Granada

One Premier League loanee is replaced by another on the hour mark for Granada. Manchester United's Andreas Pereira, who offered plenty of legs in midfield but perhaps started to tire a little, is taken off for Chelsea's Jeremie Boga.
