  1. Good night

Thanks for joining us today. It all looked like it was going to script after wins for Spanish champions Barcelona and German kings Bayern Munich. But Juventus couldn't make it a treble of champion wins today.

Check out our European football index for all of today's action. I'll see you tomorrow for Real Madrid v Athletic Bilbao and PSG v Marseille.

  2. Post update

It's a new Milan this season under Vincenzo Montella, who was named as manager this summer.

It's a young Milan too - their heroes today were 18-year-old goalscorer Manuel Locatelli and 17-year-old keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Alessio Romagnoli, in the heart of their defence is 21 and the impressive Suso is 22.

Are they real title contenders? Well, why not? Their hopes have certainly improved after one of their best wins of recent years.

And that was the final chance. AC Milan beat Juventus to close the gap at the top of Serie A to two points. An excellent win.

WHAT DRAMA! That wasn't the last chance - the referee lets play go on beyond the final five minutes and Sami Khedira absolutely cracks an effort in from 25 yards, it looks all the world like it's going top corner for a Juventus equaliser, but AC Milan's 17-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma somehow gets his hand to it to touch it wide.

  11. Post update

  13. Post update

    AC Milan 1-0 Juventus

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma throws himself at a Juan Cuadrado cross bravely and he's caught in the head by Miralem Pjanic's studs. The 17-year-old needs treatment.

  16. Post update

    AC Milan 1-0 Juventus

Suso has been impressive for AC Milan, he plays in a great ball to Carlos Bacca, who takes too long to get a shot in. It ends up with Suso again and his shot is deflected out for a corner.

  18. Post update

    AC Milan 1-0 Juventus

Juventus wing-back Dani Alves comes forward and AC Milan's defence back off and let him run at them before firing a shot over. Lads, he's pretty good - you don't want to do that.

  19. Post update
