  1. Good night

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

That's all folks. Thanks for your company on a good night for the Jambos.

We'll be back again tomorrow for more Scottish Premiership drama.

  2. Post update

Hearts manager Robbie Neilson on BBC Radio Scotland

"I'm delighted with the three points. It's been a long time since we've won down here.

"We had Jack Hamilton to thank for keeping us in the game with a wonderful save and the first goal is a stroke of luck really.

"But once we got ahead it took the pressure off the players because we've found it hard to find the net recently."

  3. Post update

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

I'm hanging on to find out what Robbie Neilson has to say. It looks like he's managed to give Chick Young the slip but our trackside reporter always gets his man.

  4. More thrills await this weekend

I've already mentioned a couple of tomorrow's games, so what else do we have in store?

Here's the full Scottish Premiership card for Saturday:

    Dundee v Celtic

    Kilmarnock v Aberdeen

    Hamilton v Inverness

    Ross County v St Johnstone

    Rangers v Partick Thistle

We'll have all of the action covered on BBC Radio Scotland and the BBC Sport website.

You can see all of the highlights on Sportscene on Sunday.

  5. 'First goal was ridiculous'

Motherwell manager Mark McGhee on BBC Radio Scotland

"I thought the first goal we conceded was ridiculous. We should be clearing our lines and getting in at 0-0.

"First 20 mins of second half I thought we were fantastic, we did everything but score, but the second goal kills it.

"I thought we deserved something out of the game.

"We come out of this with a lot of positives. We'll be a stronger squad after the international break with players coming back."

  6. Faddy for Scotland?

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

After that classy late finish from James McFadden, what are the odds on BBC Radio Scotland's Chick Young starting a Scotland comeback campaign for the Motherwell assistant manager?

  7. Battle for second spot

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

So Hearts are second, two points behind leaders Celtic, but for how long?

Aberdeen can overtake them with a win at Rugby Park and the Dons have won their last 10 matches against Killie.

Celtic, who have played two games fewer than the Jambos, are at Dens Park in tomorrow's lunchtime kick off.

  8. Post update

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

That's a first win for Hearts in these parts since 2010.

There wasn't much in a pretty ropey first half but the visitors got stronger as the game progressed.

The second goal from Callum Paterson was pretty special and really breathed confidence into Robbie Neilson's men, while knocking the stuffing out of Motherwell.

  9. FULL-TIME Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

Hearts move up to second place in the Premiership with what was a comfortable victory in the end. We got three goals in the second half and they were all crackers! Callum Paterson and Arnaud Djoum crashed in powerful strikes to add to Sam Nicholson's deflected shot, while James McFadden added a late consolation for the hosts with a delicious free kick.

  10. GOAL Motherwell 1-3 Hearts

    James McFadden

We've seen this before! James McFadden turns back the clock with a wonderful free kick, curling a sweet strike right into the postage stamp corner.

  11. Into stoppage time

    Motherwell 0-3 Hearts

The 2,000 or so Hearts supporters are in good voice, with many of the home fans already on the way home. Three minutes more for those who have stayed on to sit through.

  12. CLOSE!

    Motherwell 0-3 Hearts

There's still some life in Motherwell as substitute Lionel Ainsworth ends a smart passing move with a curling shot that has Jack Hamilton beaten but spins wide of the far post.

  13. Substitute

    Motherwell 0-3 Hearts

Just before than fine finish from Arnaud Djoum, Hearts made their final change, with Robbie Muirhead coming on for Jamie Walker.

  14. GOAL Motherwell 0-3 Hearts

    Arnaud Djoum

Icing on the cake for Hearts as Arnaud Djoum steers a lovely shot high into the corner of the net from 20 yards.

    Arnaud Djoum

    Motherwell 0-2 Hearts

So close to a third goal for Hearts as Tony Watt finds room in a busy box to thunder a shot against the post. The ball cannons off the back of Craig Samson and up in the air giving the keeper the chance to punch it away.

  16. Substitute

    Motherwell 0-2 Hearts

Prince Buaben is on for Sam Nicholson. That adds a bit more midfield steel for the visitors.

  17. Post update

    Motherwell 0-2 Hearts

Hearts are doing a good job of taking the sting out of this. Motherwell are struggling to get a touch and look to have run out steam and ideas.

  18. CLOSE!

    Motherwell 0-2 Hearts

Callum Paterson fancies another goal but this time Craig Samson is able to keep out a hooked effort from near the penalty spot.

Motherwell race up the park and Scott McDonald is inches away from reducing the deficit as he cuts in from the right and screams a left-foot shot over the far junction of crossbar and post.

  19. Substitute

    Motherwell 0-2 Hearts

Hearts also make a change, with striker Connor Sammon replaced by the towering Bjorn Johnsen.

  20. Substitutions

    Motherwell 0-2 Hearts

A double throw of the dice from Motherwell boss as James McFadden and Lionel Ainsworth come on to replace Keith Lasley and Ryan Bowman.
