  1. That's all folks

Glenavon are cup winners again and David Healy must wait for his first trophy as manager of Linfield. Here is Richard Petrie's full match report.  Thank you very much for following the action

Glenavon won the Irish Cup by beating Linfield 2-0
  2. Nice touch

Player-boss Hamilton hands his medal to Declan 'Fabio' O'Brien, the forward left out of the Glenavon matchday squad.

Hamilton is the first Glenavon manager to win the Irish Cup twice.

  3. CHAMPAGNE MOMENT

Celebration time for Glenavon. They deserved the victory and Linfield will be disappointed with their showing. Stephen Baxter says: "Linfield started like a house on fire and had chances. "But once Glenavon weathered that, they grew and ending up bossing the game."

  4. Post update

Quote Message: Our players were all excellent and will go down in the club's history. We did it for Mark Farren and hopefully he is looking down on us. from Gary Hamilton Glenavon player-manager

  6. Post update

Quote Message: There was no better time for me to score. We were a bit sloppy in the first 15 minutes but after that we controlled the game. They did not have many clear chances and we managed to take ours. It is a pleasure to play in this team. from Kevin Braniff (Glenavon) Man of the match

  7. FULL-TIME

That's it. Glenavon beat Linfield 2-0 to lift the Irish Cup for the seventh time in their history, and for the second time in three seasons under player-manager Gary Hamilton.

  8. SUBSTITUTION

Glenavon's Daniel Kearns on for Joel Cooper

  9. MAN OF THE MATCH

Ballymena boss David Jeffrey, who won the Irish Cup seven times during his time as Linfield manager, chooses Kevin Braniff as the man of the match

Kevin Braniff is man of the match
  10. SUBSTITUTION

Just like he did in the 2014 final, Glenavon player-manager Gary Hamilton comes on as a late replacement. Eoin Bradley makes way for the boss.

  11. CLOSE!

Kevin Braniff is clear through and shoots wide with only the keeper to beat. That would have been that.

  12. Corner count

    Linfield 8 Glenavon 1

When I played in the cubs, corners counted in the event of a draw. Not today, though!

  13. SUBSTITUTION

Niall Quinn comes on for Jimmy Callacher in the Linfield team

  14. YELLOW CARD

Glenavon defender Simon Kelly goes into the book for a foul, quickly followed by Linfield's Stephen Lowry

  15. YELLOW CARD

Glenavon's Joel Cooper is booked for diving in the penalty area - and deservedly so. If a foul had been given it would have been an unjust spot-kick and Blues defender Sean Ward would have been off. Ref Hetherington got it spot on

  16. SUBSTITUTION

Glenavon skipper Ciaran Martyn, 36 and on a yellow card, makes way for Mark Sykes

  17. SUBSTITUTION

It's just not happening for David Healy's Linfield and their frustration is starting to show. Kirk Millar has come on as sub with Matthew Clarke the man replaced.

  19. GOAL

    Glenavon 2-0 Linfield

Andy Hall scores to put Glenavon 2-0 up. The ball fell to him on the penalty spot and after one touch, he shoots left-footed. Linfield defender Matthew Clarke tried to block and it may well have come off him. Definitely a Hall goal and Linfield are in big trouble.

  20. HALF-TIME

Braniff's goal comes just before the break. Linfield will try to respond in the second half to stop Glenavon winning the Irish Cup for the seventh time in their history.
