The top two are both in action on Sunday and we will of course be there all the way. Leicester can go 10 points clear.

    Ten points!

    Watford 1-1 Everton

    Danny Murphy

Ex-Liverpool midfielder on Match of the Day

"I enjoy watching Everton play. I don't think it is all bad there."

  3. Post update

    Watford 1-1 Everton

Will Roberto Martinez be in charge of Everton next season?

  4. Man of the match - Gareth Barry

    Watford 1-1 Everton

It is perhaps no coincidence that Everton suffered defeats during Gareth Barry's two-match suspension. The midfielder returned to the fold to provide much-needed protection to his defence.

  5. Manager reaction

    Watford 1-1 Everton

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores: “It’s like we forgot a little to be competitive in the Premier League. We were competitive in the FA Cup and it’s time to recuperate that power - this team has played really well this season.

“It was a fair result. The most important thing for us was to have the feeling that we had the legs and the power. So I’m happy.

“The players knew the plan of defending high and sometimes creating opportunities in attack.

“It was important to score as we didn't deserve to go into half time behind. It was very hard for us, it was nice we were able to draw level before half time.”

  6. Manager reaction

    Watford 1-1 Everton

Everton manager Roberto Martinez: “We had to work really hard for it. It was a good game, two teams with a lot of energy playing on the front foot. Watford were at their very best today.

“It’s a disappointment to concede from a dead ball situation so close to half time and because of the nature of the goal, the deflection.

“There was another 45 minutes to play from then.

“We never allowed Watford to regain momentum. We were strong in the second half again and the amount of chances we created, we showed a little bit of rustiness from the last few games. Another day we would have scored the winning goal.

“We were able to penetrate into a Watford team who don’t give you many opportunities at home.

“We had many good individual performances, Gareth Barry gave us a real fluency. At the back we dealt with the front two of Watford really well and we had a good focus."

    Watford v Everton

Both goals coming from centre-halves playing too much football.

In stoppage time at the end of the first half, just get rid of it!

  12. 'Not sharp enough'

    Swansea 1-0 Chelsea

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink: "Every defeat hurts but everyone knows the situation we are in, so there's a positive side to bringing in youngsters and seeing what they can do. We defended poorly and gave Sigurdsson a very free chance. We were attacking, attacking, but in the final third we were not sharp enough."

  13. Post update

    Swansea 1-0 Chelsea

  14. Man of the match - Jefferson Montero

    Swansea 1-0 Chelsea

    Jefferson Montero

The Swansea winger was outstanding, delivering 10 crosses from open play and also making four tackles, a team high.

  15. Post update

    Swansea v Chelsea

Asmir Begovic has done his chances of staying in the Chelsea team no harm with this display. Is he now first choice?

  16. Golden Gylfi

    Swansea v Chelsea

Where would Swansea be without Gylfi Sigurdsson eh?

Only Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane (both 11) have scored more times in 2016 than the Icelander's eight.

    Swansea v Chelsea

What slick play that was from Swansea. I'm the first to find them tedious to watch at times but when they move the ball quickly like that they can be superb to watch. Get it to Montero!

  18. LINE-UPS

The talking point for Chelsea was the decision to drop Thibaut Courtois in goal, while Alex Pato starts up front.

    Aston Villa 1-2 Bournemouth

    Danny Murphy

Ex-Liverpool midfielder on Match of the Day

"That short corner for the goal shows how much Eddie Howe works with the Bournemouth team. It shows they are working on things and trying to get better.

"Eddie Howe is a breath of fresh air. Why don't the big clubs look at our own coaches? A club like Chelsea.... what would be wrong with them taking a look at him?"

  20. Post update

    Aston Villa v Bournemouth

Despite yet another defeat, Aston Villa were not relegated this afternoon. They do have to win every single game from now though and hope for a miracle elsewhere.
