  1. FULL-TIME

    Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool

That's the end of this live text coverage. There will be more player and manager reaction from the south coast on our main live page, which can be found by clicking here. There's also reaction to a cracking match between Leicester and West Ham, plus updates of Arsenal's London derby against Crystal Palace from 16:00 BST.

Thanks, as always, for joining us. It's been swell.

  2. Player reaction

    Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool's Lucas Leiva

Liverpool captain Lucas Leiva: "We made a lot of changes and the manager felt he needed to give a chance to some young player.

"To me it was a good game to come back after six or seven weeks. It was all positive. but we still need to keep going. On Wednesday we have the derby and then Newcastle and the Europa League semi-final.

"I think they (the debutants) all did very well. It's not so easy when you make so many changes, but we showed in this game we have a strong squad and the manager believes in everyone. Their chance will come, they just need to be patient and work."

  3. FULL-TIME

    Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp hugs his players before making his way towards the referee to whom he's animatedly talking with about something or other. The German seems to have an issue with something, though the chat doesn't last too long.

The German walks off the pitch with his arm around Lucas, who once again masqueraded as a dependable centre back.

  4. FULL-TIME

    Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool

Bournemouth's late surge is halted by the referee's whistle. That's our lot, and it was just getting interesting.

  5. CLOSE!

    Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool

Blimey! Steve Cook inches off target with the header. That could have been an astonishing equaliser.

  6. GOAL

    Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool - King

    Bournemouth's Andy King

Andrew Surman with a long ball towards Joshua King and the forward brilliantly finishes from the edge of the box, beating Danny Ward on the half volley. Interesting.

  7. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Adam Lallana with an adroit turn inside the box, thumping the ball towards Divock Origi. The visitors have had plenty of opportunities to add to their first-half tally.

  8. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

A minute of the full 90 remaining and Liverpool are content to pass the ball around the middle of the park between the back four and midfield.

There'll be four additional minutes to play, by the way.

  9. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Both Simon Francis and Tommy Elphick chase Daniel Sturridge, but the striker weaves one way, then another, before shooting a fraction above the crossbar. He could have ended this match with a hat-trick had he been a smidgen more accurate.

  10. FIVE MINUTES REMAINING

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool's Brad Smith

Other than that Daniel Sturridge chance, it's been all Bournemouth in the last 15 minutes. Wave after wave of red and black coming towards Liverpool goal.

Brad Smith's arm connects with a cross inside the box and the crowd roar for a spot kick. The Australian appeared to control the ball with his chest before it made accidental contact with his arm.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

End-to-end stuff as Liverpool attack with pace and Daniel Sturridge once again gets the better of Artur Boruc but not the woodwork. It would have been a sublime chipped goal had it sneaked in.

  12. GREAT SAVE!

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool keeper Danny Ward

Lewis Grabban with a bullet of a header, but an acrobatic save from Danny Ward - low to his left - ensures there's still a two-goal cushion. A fine debut by the goalkeeper.

  13. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Possession is all Bournemouth's as we enter the last 10 minutes of this match. Liverpool have plenty of white shifts behind the ball, however - everyone bar Daniel Sturridge - as they attempt to see off the hosts.

  14. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Callum Wilson's effort deflects off Mamadou Sakho and Danny Ward prevents the ball from sneaking into the bottom corner. A wry smile from the Cherries substitute. The hosts are running out of time if they are to dig their way out of this hole.

  15. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

    Liverpool's Adam Lallana

And another substitution. Jordon Ibe goes off, Adam Lallana comes on against his former club. I think that's it for now.

  16. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

A change to Liverpool's personnel. Goalscorer Firmino makes way for Divock Origi, a striker who has scored in his last three games.

For Bournemouth, Callum Wilson replaces Matt Ritchie for the conclusion of this match. Bournemouth's fans delighted about the return to action of their top scorer.

  17. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool's Kevin Stewart in action with Bournemouth's Joshua King

There's a nice flow to the match, neither side able to retain possession for too long so the action moves from one end to the other. The pendulum has swung in Bournemouth's direction of late, though, and a goal for the hosts could have Liverpool's defence wobbling like blancmange.

  18. CLOSE!

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Bournemouth's Joshua King has his shot saved by Liverpool's Danny Ward

Danny Ward could have watched much of this match on a deckchair, while reading the Sunday papers, but he's twice been called into action in the last couple of minutes. The energetic Joshua King beats substitute Mamadou Sakho with ease and forces a fingertip save from the Liverpool goalkeeper.

  19. SUBSTITUTION

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

Liverpool attempting to kill the Bournemouth resurgence by a thousand passes. The visitors pinging the ball around crisply. A substitution for the Reds to tell you about as Mamadou Sakho comes on for Kolo Toure.

  20. Post update

    Bournemouth 0-2 Liverpool

The hosts have improved in the last seven minutes or so. Substitute Marc Pugh has made an impact and his pass bisects Liverpool's midfield and finds Joshua King, who cuts inside Lucas on the right and draws a save from largely underemployed Danny Ward.
