  2. INJURY TIME

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

Two minutes until Tottenham are put out of their misery...

  3. Post update

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

Spurs fans leave White Hart Lane

Swathes of blue seats around most of White Hart Lane now. Except for the away end where Dortmund fans sing along heartily.

  4. Post update

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

Ryan Mason battles away, looking for a leveller on the night. Pah! The Spurs midfielder slices one high and wide from 18 yards.

  5. Post update

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

Plenty of Spurs fans are trudging up the steps and down through the turnstiles. Don't blame them. Beating the car park queue is one victory that they can celebrate tonight.

  6. Post update

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

Dortmund want more. Gonzalo Castro jinks inside from the left, blazing a 20-yard shot over the bar.

  7. Post update

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

    Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham running around a lot, but still not hurting Dortmund. Men against boys.

  8. Post update

    Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

Normal service resumed by Dortmund after that defensive blip. The German side popping the ball around nicely. but Spurs have renewed hope of, at least, not losing on the night.

  9. GOAL - Tottenham 1-2 Dortmund (Agg: 1-5)

    Son Heung-min

    Son Heung-min scores

The comeback is on! A sloppy backpass from Neven Subotic gifts Son Heung-min a consolation goal. The Korean pounces to slide into an empty net with Subotic and keeper Roman Weidenfeller caught stranded.

That's the ex-Hamburg and Leverkusen player's sixth goal in six matches against Dortmund. Small consolations and all that...

  10. GOAL - Tottenham 0-2 Dortmund (Agg: 0-5)

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scores

If this was a boxing match then Mauricio Pochettino would telling his team to stay in the corner and not get up.

Dortmund crack another killer blow as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang clips in the second after a swift break.

  11. SUBSTITUTION

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Further proof that Mauricio Pochettino has thrown in the towel (some might say he did that last week). Off comes Dele Alli with Sunday's Premier League game against Bournemouth in mind, on comes Tom Carroll.

  12. Post update

Man Utd 1-1 Liverpool (Agg: 1-3)

Manchester United look like joining Spurs on the European scrapheap. The Red Devils need three goals in the last 25 minutes or so to stun Liverpool.

If you want to keep half an eye on that game then head here.

  13. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Julian Wiegl is challenged by Kevin Wimmer

Spurs huffing and puffing but they haven't looked like breaking down a Dortmund defence which hasn't conceded in four (and now two-thirds) games.

  14. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel sends on Christian Pulisic

You know it is game over when the opposition bring off their star man and replace him with a 17-year-old American kid who you have never heard of.

Off trots Marco Reus, with Christian Pulisic scampering on like an excited cocker spaniel puppy.

  15. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

    Very sincere...

  16. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang misses with a shot

Dortmund fans haven't seen this much this season - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shanking a shot when well placed. Spurs fans cheer. Well they need something to cheer them up. Dortmund fans don't care. They are bouncing up and down, bowing down in unison. Their team is coasting towards the last eight.

  17. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Here comes the Son! George Harrison, I apologise. Son Heung-min sprints after a punt into the Dortmund box, watching the ball drop over his left shoulder. But he can't take the ball down and the ball runs through to Roman Weidenfeller. Still no Spurs shot on target.

  18. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Great news for football commentators across the world - Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos is hooked. Yay! The Greek has been struggling with a knock so is replaced by the much-easier-to-spell Erik Durm. Eight letters - snappy.

  19. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

Dortmund aren't showing any signs of sitting back and relaxing though. The German side spring forward quickly from their own half, Hugo Lloris having to race out of the blocks to gather.

  20. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Dortmund (Agg: 0-4)

    Dele Alli

Dele Alli, as he often does these days, looks the likeliest to create a moment of magic for Spurs. His ball pierces the Dortmund defence, but Erik Lamela times his run wrong and is caught offside.
