  1. FULL-TIME

    West Brom 1-2 Bournemouth

Well, that was a quiet second half.

A lot to talk about. Go to #bbcfootball to share your thoughts.

  2. RED CARD TO WEST BROM

    West Brom 1-2 Bournemouth

Salomon Rondon goes in with his head with Adam Smith after the striker fouls Dan Gosling. The Baggies forward is sent off. A silly moment.

  3. GOAL - West Brom 1-2 Bournemouth

    Charlie Daniels

The left-back smashes in the spot-kick brilliantly. One of the best I've seen this season.

Now then the penalty... the replay suggests the foul might have been outside the area.

One to be analysed on Match of the Day later.

  4. PENALTY TO BOURNEMOUTH

Dan Gosling is brought down in the area by Darren Fletcher.

  5. WHAT A MISS!

    West Brom 1-1 Bournemouth

    IT WAS A FREE HEADER!

West Brom's Craig Dawson misses from 10 yards from a free-kick delivered into the area by Craig Gardner.

You should have seen Tony Pulis' face.

  6. West Brom 1-1 Bournemouth

    Gareth McAuley

Gareth McAuley heads in the equaliser. Remarkable!

The defender, stood at the near post, flicks on his header towards goal. It strikes the far post and goes in.

It appeared that Salomon Rondon might have got a touch, but he didn't celebrate, so it's McAuley's goal.

  7. GOAL - West Brom 1-1 Bournemouth

  8. SUBSTITUTION

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

Glenn Murray, a late replacement for Josh King during the warm-up, is replaced by Yann Kermogant.

The Cherries have 14 minutes-plus to hang on.

  9. SUBSTITUTION

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

West Brom on the attack. Chris Brunt's cross from the left eventually falls to skipper Darren Fletcher, whose shot goes behind for a corner.

The Baggies then win another corner, but that is cleared too by the Cherries defence.

The 10 men are putting up a fight.

Brunt comes off for Rickie Lambert.

  10. SUBSTITUTION LARKS!

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

It wasn't going to go in, but Junior Stanislas surges down the byeline before firing a shot that Boaz Myhill saves low at his near post.

Stanislas was about to come off for Marc Pugh, but was then told to stay on by referee Mike Dean before a corner.

The ball goes behind for another corner and now Pugh comes on. What larks!

  11. YELLOW CARD

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

Baggies skipper Darren Fletcher is booked for dissent by Mike Dean.

  12. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

Rondon is back on the pitch. His one effort - a decent volley - is the only memorable thing he's done for his team in the match.

  13. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

I don't remember the last time West Brom were in the Bournemouth area.

Baggies striker Salomon Rondon needs a bit of treatment after landing heavily on his back in his own area.

  14. 'Three wins in three for Bournemouth?'

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

    Danny Mills

Former Man City defender, Final Score

"Adam Smith cuts in on his left-hand side and drives into the bottom corner. He's been involved in a lot this afternoon - that goal could cost West Brom dear. Three wins in three for Bournemouth? Amazing."

    Adam Smith scores
  15. Post update

    West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

Matt Ritchie's low strike from a free-kick is deflected wide. The resulting corner comes to nothing.

    The Cherries are twisting.

  16. West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

    Adam Smith

The Cherries make the man advantage count. Adam Smith, who was hacked down by red-carded James McClean in the first half, picks up the ball from 20 yards and fires a low shot into Boaz Myhill's left.

What a great result this would be for Eddie Howe's men.

    Adam Smith celebrates for Bournemouth
  17. GOAL - West Brom 0-1 Bournemouth

  18. SHOWBOAT AND SHOT

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Salomon Rondon comes to life. The striker's turn and volley from 12 yards is tipped over by the very alert Artur Boruc.

Excellent start to the half by Albion who are a man down.

    There you go.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

  24. HALF-TIME

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

    James McClean
Image caption: That was a nasty one for Adam Smith

It's half-time at the Hawthorns. The Baggies are a man down following James McClean's deserved sending off.

This is the perfect chance for the Cherries to pick up an early Xmas present.

  25. INJURY TIME AND CHANCE

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Matt Ritchie heads wide from six yards from a great delivery from Junior Stanislas. He should have scored.

There are only two minutes of stoppage time. Hmmm...

  26. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Dan Gosling makes a great run on the right of the area, but his final pass goes behind team-mate Junior Stanislas - Cherries going for it at the Hawthorns.

Moments later, Glenn Murray's low strike is well held by Boaz Myhill. The keeper is in for a busy second half.

  27. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

We have five minutes remaining in this first half, plus stoppage time.

Key for the Baggies here is to not concede before HT so they can regroup.

Cherries need to go hell for leather before the whistle, which they are doing...

  28. 'That's happened to me!'

    Danny Mills

Former Man City defender, Final Score

"It was an awful challenge! McClean has cleaned him out completely, and has lost his head. But, I'll be honest... that's happened to me!"

Simon Francis argues with James McClean
  29. RED CARD TO WEST BROM

    James McClean

Adam Smith is scythed down by James McClean and Mike Dean has no hesitation but to show a straight red to the Irishman.

It looked an awful tackle on the replay. One to judge for yourself on Match of the Day later.

    James McClean is sent off
  30. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

    BBC WM's Tony Brown:

"West Brom just haven’t got going yet, and the crowd are waiting for them to do something, just so some knows they can get behind them."

    James McClean
  31. Rondon touchmap

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

OK, so Rondon has had a few touches. But he's a striker right?

    Rondon
  32. Mexican wave time?

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

It's all rather quiet on the attacking front. I don't recall the Baggies striker Salomon Rondon having many touches.

  33. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

West Brom have a free-kick. Craig Gardner whips it in from the right and it just misses the head of Craig Dawson.

The Baggies applying more pressure now after a relatively poor first 20 minutes.

  34. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

    Bourn graphic
  35. Jittery Baggies

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

West Brom just let Charlie Daniels run about 30 yards before his shot takes another deflection and goes out for a corner.

Again, it was a set piece easily dealt with by the home side.

  36. SHOT!

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Last-minute replacement Glenn Murray has an early sniff at goal. His shot from Junior Stanislas' pass is deflected out for a corner.

Nothing comes from the resulting Cherries set piece.

  37. The Lenny Henry Show

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

If you fancy a laugh then The Hawthorns is a good ground to go to (that wasn't supposed to be derogatory).

Not only does comic Frank Skinner support the Baggies but so does Sir Lenny Henry.

Yes, that is Lenny and not Ainsley Harriott.

    Sir Lenny Henry
  38. 'Bournemouth's attacking football is in complete contrast to West Brom's'

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

    Danny Mills

Former Man City defender, Final Score

"Bournemouth are in fantastic form, are on a real upward curve at the moment. Their attacking football is in complete contrast to West Brom's. There is absolutely no reason why the Cherries can't continue to pick up points and move up the table."

  39. Post update

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

    Chris Sutton

Former Chelsea striker on Final Score

"Who would have thought Bournemouth would have gone on this run of brilliant form? They must be full of confidence, and they play they could be more like the home team today.

"West Brom are more 4-4-2, dogged and determined, but they have a goal threat in Salomon Rondon."

Bournemouth defender Simon Francis and West Brom striker Salomon Rondon
  40. GREAT SHOTS AND SAVE!

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

Early menace from the Cherries. Junior Stanislas tries one from 20 yards that Boaz Myhill punches away.

Then at the other end James Morrison attempts a lovely dipping half-volley that almost catches out backtracking Artur Boruc at his far post.

  41. KICK-OFF

    West Brom 0-0 Bournemouth

We are under way on this balmy day.

  42. Post update

West Brom v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Alan Green

BBC Match of the Day commentator

"While, clearly, Tony Pulis incurred the wrath of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp for West Brom's reliance on 'long balls' last Sunday, the Baggies' manager is rightly concentrating on his primary task - keeping the club in the Premier League.

"I wonder if he looks on with a little envy at the contrast in views displayed towards Eddie Howe. I never hear a word of criticism about the Bournemouth boss who clearly decided promotion wasn't an excuse to ditch the attractive principles underlying their football.

"Whether in defeat or, recently, in those victories at Chelsea and against Manchester United, the Cherries are a joy to watch. Is it conceivable, in this 'daft' season, they can win a third consecutive game?"

  46. Howe thanks 'teacher' Pulis

West Brom v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Eddie Howe

Did you know that Eddie Howe was a schoolboy apprentice when Tony Pulis managed the Cherries back in that golden year that was 1992?

    Well, he did.

    Here's Howe on Pulis:

"I remember my first pre-season here coming out of school at 16 when Tony was manager, and it was a great experience for me, my first taste of professional football every day.

"The pre-season we endured was really tough, but it was a great learning experience and opened my eyes to how fit and disciplined you had to be and how much you needed to devote your life to football really.

"It was those few weeks which had a big shaping on how I looked after myself physically, so I have a lot to thank Tony for in that period."

  47. Predict the unpredictable

West Brom v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

BBC Sport's prediction overlord Mark Lawrenson reckons this game is going to be 2-1 to West Brom.

But what do you think? There is no need to scream your prediction at your computer any more - you can have your say using our Predictor.

There is a league table for how fans of each club are doing prediction-wise this season. Albion and Cherries fans, you're both very mid-table. But you can turn it around by predicting right now.
