Commentator's notes
Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
John Roder
Match of the Day commentator at Selhurst Park
"Every team seems to have an opponent who they find it hard to get any positive result against, and for Crystal Palace that bogey side in the Premier League is surely Southampton.
"Ronald Koeman will be hoping that continues this Saturday, as his team look to halt a run of three without a victory (four if you include the League Cup thrashing to Liverpool).
"Palace have a better record on their travels than they do at Selhurst Park this season but, backed by their magnificent home support, Alan Pardew's team will always be a force. It should be a fascinating afternoon."
15 minutes until kick-off
The spirit of Christmas is strong at Selhurst Park. Band Aid's Do They Know It's Christmas has been played, the mascots are wearing red hats a la Father Christmas. No white beards, though, which is disappointing.
The players have just finished their warm-ups, the pitch is being sprinkled with wet stuff... 15 minutes until kick-off.

Saints formation unexpected - Pardew
Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew: "The team does pick itself. We just want to win today. Sometimes you get a victory which is more than a victory, which that was against Newcastle.
"But this will be difficult, because Southampton come here today with a changed formation, no Pelle, so it's a little bit different to what we were expecting."
Saints team news
Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
Saints manager Ronald Koeman has been forced to ponder a few selection dilemmas. Firstly, he's without regular stopper Maarten Stekelenburg, who is being bothered by a toe injury. Top scorer Graziano Pelle (knee) is only fit enough for a spot on the bench, where he will be joined by attacking midfielder Dusan Tadic.
Koeman makes four changes in total, with Paulo Gazzaniga, Maya Yoshida, Oriol Romeu and Shane Long all getting the nod.
Palace team news
Crystal Palace v Southampton (15:00 GMT)
The Palace team news is pretty simple. One change for Alan Pardew's men as winger Wilfried Zaha returns from suspension to start. Out goes central midfielder Mile Jedinak, who has an ankle injury. Forwards Dwight Gayle and Bakary Sako also miss out with knocks.
Post update
The hosts have lost four home matches so far in the league, a sorry run, while the visitors are winless in three Premier League ties - and were booted out of the League Cup after a 6-1 home thrashing by Liverpool.
Fortunes must surely turn for one team - but which one? Crystal Palace? Southampton? Let's find out.
