  1. Post update

    Aberdeen clap
  2. Post update

That's enough from me. Congratulations to Aberdeen and Celtic on convincing victories. Will these two still be scrapping it out at the end of the season? There's a long, long way to go but the Dons are looking like the real deal right now. That's eight wins from eight and they lead the way by five points.

We'll be back with midweek League Cup action so make sure you join us for that. Enjoy what's left of your weekend.

  3. Post update

    Celtic manager Ronny Deila

"It was a brilliant performance. The atmosphere was nice and we won 6-0. It doesn't get better than that.

"Emilio Izaguirre played well against Ajax and was a little bit unfortunate to get the red card. He played well again today but the penalty was very poor! He's not the first guy to get a red card in his life. You just have to bounce back."

The Celtic boss turns 40 tomorrow, so the 6-0 win over Dundee was a nice early present...

  4. Post update

More from Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes

"Getting the first goal was important and Hearts started to chase the game maybe more than they needed to and we were able to pick them off. I wasn't too pleased with the first 20-25 minutes of the second half but we're not going to get it all our own way at a place like this and Hearts showed great fight and tenacity."

And on a potential title challenge?

"Every time we win a game, I'm probably going to have to answer the same question. But it's still very early. We just want to be a competitive team and I think we have a squad that can be successful. It's been a great start."

  5. Post update

Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes on BBC Radio Scotland

"Hearts are a good side and they don't lose many at home but we were always confident that the team we picked could get the job done. The first half was full of intelligence, with great quality to our goals and our passing movement."

  6. Post update

Dejected Dundee boss Paul Hartley also reveals that defender James McPake was shown a yellow card after the final whistle for a spot of mouthing off...

  7. Post update

Dundee manager Paul Hartley on BBC Radio Scotland

"It could have been a lot worse if it wasn't for the goalkeeper. We were very poor today. Some of the goals we gave away were shambolic. We had a game plan but we couldn't carry it out and that performance is not acceptable."

  8. Post update

Of course, highlights from Saturday's games will be online from 18:00. You'll be able to see Billy McKay scoring for Dundee United against former club Inverness CT.

  9. Post update

You can watch all of the weekend highlights on Sportscene tonight. There's a change of time and channel tonight, with the programme on at 22:00 on BBC Two Scotland.

  10. Celtic 6-0 Dundee

That was a bad day at the office for Dundee, who have Scott Bain to thank for keeping the score down with some impressive saves. The Dark Blues stay sixth in the table on 11 points from eight games.

  11. Celtic 6-0 Dundee

Emilio Izaguirre (right) scored twice at Celtic Park

Will Emilio Izaguirre ever get another chance like that for a hat-trick? He's not too upset by the sounds of it as the Sportsound commentary team report that he is smiling broadly and applauding all corners of Celtic Park.

  12. FULL-TIME

    Celtic 6-0 Dundee

Celtic do a demolition job on Dundee to stay five points behind Premiership leaders Aberdeen. Emilio Izaguirre bagged two goals - it was that sort of day for the visitors - but the Honduran left-back missed out on a hat-trick by blazing a penalty off target. Tom Rogic, Leigh Griffiths, Scott Brown and Nadir Ciftci got the other goals.

  13. Celtic 6-0 Dundee

A few Dundee players have chucked it but James McPake still cares enough to throw himself in front of a shot from Gary Mackay-Steven. Nir Bitton is then left all alone to have a pop but his strike from distance sails over.

  14. GOAL

    Celtic 6-0 Dundee (Ciftci)

Hold on. Nadir Ciftci does get on the score sheet and it's all down to a woeful back-pass from Gary Irvine. The Celtic striker accepts the gift gleefully, tucking a neat shot underneath the exposed and over-worked Scott Bain.

  15. GOAL

    Celtic 5-0 Dundee (Brown)

Nadir Ciftci settles for an assist as he picks out Scott Brown with a clever cut-back and the Celtic captain tucks it away.

  16. DISALLOWED GOAL

    Celtic 4-0 Dundee

Nadir Ciftic thinks he has his first Celtic goal but the whistle had gone as Scott Bain fumbles from a free-kick.

  17. GREAT SAVE!

    Celtic 4-0 Dundee

Scott Bain makes the latest in a growing list of good saves today as he leaps up to claw away a smart, curling strike from Celtic skipper Scott Brown.

  18. Celtic 4-0 Dundee

Dundee substitutes Riccardo Calder and Rhys Healy combine and the latter heads over the top from a great cross.

  19. Celtic 4-0 Dundee

It's fizzling out a bit as Celtic see out a comfortable victory. There's still time for Emilio Izaguirre to atone for that penalty miss and get his hat-trick. "It's walking pace," says co-commentator Mark Wilson on BBC Radio Scotland.

  20. Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Hearts manager Robbie Neilson on BBC Radio Scotland

"We can't allow teams to come to Tynecastle and score three goals - we made far too many sloppy mistakes today. I was impressed by Aberdeen but if we had played like we can we could have pushed them all the way."

  21. Celtic 4-0 Dundee

BBC Radio Scotland commentator Rob Maclean

"He's still shaking his head, Izaguirre. He can't believe it. The pressure was too much."

  22. MISSED PENALTY

    Celtic 4-0 Dundee

Emilio Izaguirre misses from the penalty spot

And he blows his big chance! A shocker, smashed over the crossbar from Emilio Izaguirre.

  23. PENALTY

    Celtic 4-0 Dundee

The hat-trick is on! Penalty to the home side as Callum McGregor is tripped and Emilio Izaguirre has got the ball...

  24. GOAL

    Celtic 4-0 Dundee (Izaguirre)

Emilio Izaguirre was miserable on Thursday as his red card against Ajax perhaps cost his side a Europa League victory, now he's on a hat-trick! This time the left-back seizes on a deflected cross from Saidy Janko to finish from close range.

  25. SUBSTITUTION

    Celtic 3-0 Dundee

Leigh Griffiths gets a rest and Nadir Cifcti gets the chance to impress with over half an hour to play. The replacement striker won't be too popular with the Dundee players after that sorry biting episode at the end of last season.

  26. GOAL

    Celtic 3-0 Dundee (Izaguirre)

No interruption to Celtic's dominance as they claim a third goal when Emilio Izaguirre plays a smart one-two with Kris Commons then steers shot past Scott Bain with his right foot.

Max Baggins-Craig on Twitter: "#bbcscotfootball Aberdeen have been outstanding, thoroughly deserved - no argument. Great skills, passion & some beautiful goals."

  28. Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin at Tynecastle: "1600 Aberdeen fans head home very happy after watching their side destroy Hearts at home today. If the Dons continue to play this way for the foreseeable future, I'd be astonished if we don't see a title challenge come May. They've answered every question that's been asked of them."

  29. FULL-TIME

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

That's eight wins from eight for Aberdeen, who will stay five points clear of Celtic at the top of the Premiership. It could be more if Dundee produce something spectacular in the second half in Glasgow.

  30. SUBSTITUTION

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

We'll get three minutes of stoppage-time and Aberdeen are eating up a few seconds by replacing Niall McGinn with Ryan McLaughlin. Two assists and a goal for McGinn. Nice work.

  31. Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Aberdeen clear their lines again and Ash Taylor's header falls to Osman Sow, who gets a shot on target from 23 yards. Danny Wallace is right behind it though and makes an easy save.

  32. KICK-OFF

    Celtic 2-0 Dundee

We're up and running at Celtic Park again...

  33. Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Five minutes remaining at Tynecastle and the crowd has gone a bit flat as home supporters come to terms with what looks like a third defeat on the trot.

  34. SUBSTITUTIONS

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

David Goodwillie gets an earful from the home support, who maybe don't appreciate his physical approach, as he makes way for Josh Parker. He can be very pleased with his day's work after knocking in two goals for the impressive Dons.

Hearts also make a change, with Billy King replacing Prince Buaben.

  35. YELLOW CARD

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Paul Quinn is cautioned for upending Osman Sow and from the free-kick on the left angle of the penalty area Hearts skipper Alim Ozturk fires in a dangerous delivery. It clips the head of Aberdeen captain Ryan Jack and spins narrowly wide of the back post.

  38. HALF-TIME

    Celtic 2-0 Dundee

    Celtic are 2-0 up

BBC Scotland's Richard Wilson at Celtic Park: "Dundee are fortunate to only be two goals behind at Celtic Park. The home side creates six other clear chances, with Tom Rogic in particular a prominent figure in the final third. Dundee have been too deep and too poor in possession. It's been comfortable for Celtic and they are in complete control."

  39. Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Hearts have lifted the tempo again as Sam Nicholson has a lash at goal. The effort takes a deflection off a defender in white and skids wide.

  40. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Celtic 2-0 Dundee

An opportunity for Dundee but Craig Gordon does well to read Gary Harkins' free-kick and pushes it away. Then Celtic break upfield and James Forrest surges into the penalty area only to see his shot deflected onto the face of the crossbar.

  41. Join the debate at #bbcscotfootball

Anthony Duncan on Twitter: "Football masterclass by @AberdeenFC not just in the first half but this season so far #BBCSportsound #bbcscotfootball #dareToDream"

  42. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Hearts are inches away from a fabulous goal as Callum Paterson's curling free-kick from 22 yards crashes off the top of the crossbar.

  43. Celtic 2-0 Dundee

Kris Commons, so influential in the midweek draw with Ajax, blazes a free-kick over Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain's crossbar in the final five minutes of the first half.

  44. SUBSTITUTION

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Derek McInnes makes a change to his Aberdeen team, sending on top-scorer Adam Rooney for Peter Pawlett. Sam Nicholson has made a difference for Hearts since he replaced Gavin Reilly at the interval.

  45. Post update

BBC Scotland's Richard Wilson at Celtic Park: "Dundee have been spending less time on the back foot, but have had only a long, rangy run from Paul McGinn to show for it. The full-back made it into Celtic's penalty area and hit the ground as Efe Ambrose challenged but amid half-hearted appeals no penalty is awarded."

  46. Post update

    Celtic 2-0 Dundee

Former Celtic defender Mark Wilson on BBC Radio Scotland

"If they get in 2-0 at half-time, Paul Hartley will be telling his players to hang in there for as long as possible because Dundee will get one or two chances."

  47. Text us on 80295

Alex in East Kilbride: "As I said in my text at the beginning of the season. Robbie Neilson will get found out this season, because to be honest who were they up against last season?"

Alex from Dunoon: "Isn't it funny how teams in SPL who have an ex-Celtic player as a manager seem to always lie down to Celtic? But on the other hand there's Derek McInnes..."

  48. GREAT SAVE!

    Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Another wonderful opportunity for the visitors as the home defence dozes off again. This time, Niall McGinn darts in from the right to gather a ball over the top and his powerful strike is well saved by Neil Alexander.

  49. Hearts 1-3 Aberdeen

Great chance for Aberdeen! Graeme Shinnie works the ball through to Peter Pawlett as the Hearts defence is split wide open. The midfielder has to score but fluffs a weak shot right at keeper Neil Alexander.

  50. Post update

BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin at Tynecastle: "The noise levels rise around Tynecastle as the home fans dream of a fight back. What do the Dons do now? Go for a fourth or defend 3-1?"

From the resulting corner, the ball drops to Igor Rossi and the big Brazilian defender is able to poke a shot in from five yards or so.

  54. KICK-OFF

    Hearts 0-3 Aberdeen

We're off again at Tynecastle and we have some early drama as Dons keeper Danny Ward leaves his penalty are to completely wipe out striker Juanma. Just a yellow card for the clattering challenge and the visitors clear from the resultant free-kick, as Andy Considine makes a good block.

  58. GOAL

    Celtic 1-0 Dundee (Rogic)

Celtic's patience is rewarded as Emilio Izaguirre clips a cross in from the left and Tom Rogic volleys past Scott Bain for the opening goal.

We're having trouble with the coverage tab at the top of this page, with both streams coming from Tynecastle! If you'd prefer to listen to commentary of Celtic's Premiership match against Dundee, just visit the BBC Sport Scotland homepage and select it from the coverage section on the right.

  60. Hearts 0-3 Aberdeen

  61. Hearts 0-3 Aberdeen

  63. Celtic 0-0 Dundee

  64. HALF-TIME

    Hearts 0-3 Aberdeen

David Goodwillie (centre) celebrates his second goal

That's game over surely? Hearts were just beginning to show some teeth but that third goal for the Dons has a few home fans heading for the exits already.

Eyebrows were raised by David Goodwillie's inclusion in place of Adam Rooney but the big striker has knocked in two goals

  65. GOAL

    Hearts 0-3 Aberdeen (Goodwillie)

Stunning counter-attack from the Dons. The visitors are defending their own penalty box and then suddenly Niall McGinn is breaking forward from the right and speeds past Blazej Augustyn to drill a pass across the penalty box to David Goodwillie, who takes a touch a plants a composed shot into the bottom corner.

  66. YELLOW CARD

As half-time approaches in Edinburgh, Miguel Pallardo is booked for a pull at Niall McGinn.

  67. KICK-OFF

  69. Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen

Hearts are knocking on the door as an Igor Rossi header and then a Jamie Walker shot are repelled by the visitors' defence.

  70. Celtic v Dundee (15:00)

BBC Scotland's Richard Wilson at Celtic Park: "Celtic are entitled to feel enthused by their performance against Ajax in midweek. Changes have been made to the side, though, with Ambrose and Boyata in central defence. Greg Stewart is on form and the Dundee striker will look to exploit yet another new pairing at the back for Celtic. The home side have Kris Commons in the starting line-up and he will carry the threat to Dundee. Difficult to see beyond a home win."

  71. Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen

Former Hearts midfielder Michael Stewart on BBC Radio Scotland

"Hearts definitely need to get something before half-time. To get something out of nothing would give everybody a real lift."

  72. Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen

A daft scuffle breaks out with some pushing and shoving after Aberdeen defender Ash Taylor stops a Hearts break away with a hand ball. Alim Ozturk lines up the free-kick but it hammers into the defensive wall.

Osman Sow gets his head down and surges forward through the middle but just as the Hearts forward is shaping to shoot from 18 yards in comes Paul Quinn with a perfectly timed sliding tackle.

  74. Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen

Juanma is playing in a central role now and Hearts look more dangerous as a result but Aberdeen keeper Danny Ward is yet to be tested.

  75. Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen

BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin at Tynecastle: "Stunning goal from Niall McGinn. Poor defending again but what a fabulous individual goal from the Northern Irishman. Very long way back for Hearts after 24 minutes. This Aberdeen side are getting better and better."

  76. Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen

Former Hearts midfielder Michael Stewart on BBC Radio Scotland

"Hearts defensively are an absolute disgrace. They are at sixes and sevens. It is another terrible goal to lose."

  77. GOAL

    Hearts 0-2 Aberdeen (McGinn)

That is a lovely, lovely goal for Aberdeen. Niall McGinn hares after a long ball down the left and nutmegs Blazej Augustyn before shimmying past a beffudled Callum Paterson then he slams a shot into the far corner from a tight angle.

Aberdeen are getting a lot of joy down the left as Peter Pawlett skips past Gavin Reilly and flashes a dangerous ball across goal but there are none of his team-mates to be seen.

Juanma and Gavin Reilly are the wide men for Hearts today and neither man looks particularly comfortable in the role.

  81. Hearts 0-1 Aberdeen

  82. Hearts 0-1 Aberdeen

Aberdeen cut through the Hearts defence with ease as Peter Pawlett scampers down the left and cuts inside to have a shot. A comfortable save for Neil Alexander at his front post.

  83. Hearts 0-1 Aberdeen

  84. GOAL

    Hearts 0-1 Aberdeen (Goodwillie)

David Goodwillie celebrates the opening goal

David Goodwillie is hacked down by Callum Paterson out near the corner flag on the left and is then able to get his head to Graeme Shinnie's floated free-kick. It wasn't a powerful nod in a busy six yard box and keeper Neil Alexander gets a glove on it but it creeps over the line.

  85. Hearts 0-0 Aberdeen

The pace is frantic at Tynecastle and Aberdeen are being pressed deep into their own territory. A few shaky moments for the visitors...

  86. LINE-UPS FROM CELTIC PARK

Celtic: Gordon; Janko, Boyata, Ambrose, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Rogic, Forrest; Griffiths. Subs: Bailly, Blackett, Ciftci, Stokes, Mackay-Steven, McGregor, Tierney.

Dundee: Bain, Irvine, Konrad, McPake, McGinn, Thomson, Ross, Harkins, Low, Stewart, Hemmings. Subs: Gourlay, Holt, Loy, Healey, Calder, Carreiro, Meggatt.

  87. Hearts 0-0 Aberdeen

BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin: "Scarfs swirling and the atmosphere is electric. Here we go at Tynecastle. I sense goals. It looks like Aberdeen are going with a back three, with Logan and Shinnie the wing-backs."

  88. KICK-OFF

We're off at a jam-packed Tynecastle... It's loud in the west end of the capital!

  89. Hearts v Aberdeen (14:15)

Hearts absolutely romped the Championship last season, finishing 21 points clear of nearest rivals Hibs. The feelgood factor continued with five top flight wins on the spin, so it will be interesting to see how they respond to back-to-back defeats - a first since head coach Robbie Neilson and director of football Craig Levein took control at Tynecastle in the summer of 2014.

  90. Celtic v Dundee (15:00)

Leigh Griffiths is level with Adam Rooney and St Johnstone's Steven MacLean on six Premiership goals so far. Can the Celtic striker find the net against his former side today? He got three from the five meetings with Dundee last season.

  91. Celtic v Dundee (15:00)

What about Dundee's record at Celtic Park? You need to go back to 2001 to find a win for the Dark Blues, when Fabian Caballero scored twice and the visitors played with 10 men for almost an hour to keep out Henrik Larsson, Lubo Moravcik and co.

The last meeting was a 5-0 thumping in May but the other four contests last season were closer affairs, including a draw at Dens Park.

  92. Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson

"We've had a difficult period in the last two weeks. We've got a good squad and we're getting a few players back, so we're nearly there.

"Aberdeen have had a great start to the season but we're confident we can get three points in front of a full house. It will be an interesting game but I'm sure my players can handle it."

  93. Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes

"We come here with a lot of confidence but we can't expect the points to come our way simply because we're on a good run.

"The Hearts centre-backs often play a bit deeper and we think David Goodwillie is a good option for us up front. We want to get quick support to him."

  94. Post update

"You just get a sense in the air that this is such a big fixture," Sportsound presenter Richard Gordon is getting excited at Tynecastle.

  95. Hearts v Aberdeen (14:15)

Aberdeen are flying right now but travelling fans will be wary of Hearts, who have been something of a "bogey team" for them in recent times.

The Dons drew 1-1 on their last visit to Tynecastle back in April 2014, with the previous five meetings in Gorgie all going the way of the home side. Hearts' good record extends to Pittodrie too, losing just one of the last 14 meetings.

  96. Hearts v Aberdeen (14:15)

    Aberdeen striker Adam Rooney

Surprised to see Adam Rooney on the Aberdeen bench? The Irishman has six goals in his last six appearances, with four of those from the penalty spot. David Goodwillie is yet to find the net this season.

The striker's partner gave birth the other day, so maybe he's had a few sleepless nights...

  97. LINE-UPS FROM TYNECASTLE

Hearts: Alexander, Paterson, Ozturk, Augustyn, Rossi, Buaben, Pallardo, Sow, Walker, Reilly, Juanma. Subs: Hamilton, Smith, McGhee, McKirdy, Swanson, Nicholson, King

Aberdeen: Ward, Logan, Shinnie, Quinn Taylor, Considine. Jack, Shinnie, McLean, McGinn, Pawlett, Goodwillie. Subs: Brown, Flood, Rooney, Smith, Robson, McLaughlin, Parker.

Blazej Augustyn, Gavin Reilly, Jamie Walker and Miguel Pallardo are back for the home side, while David Goodwillie leads the Aberdeen attack, with top-scorer Adam Rooney on the bench. Defenders Shay Logan and Paul Quinn return and Peter Pawlett is in for the suspended Jonny Hayes.

  98. Hearts v Aberdeen (14:15)

Like Aberdeen, Hearts started their Premiership campaign in excellent form, winning their first five, but they go into this game looking to avoid a hat-trick of defeats after slipping up away to Hamilton and Inverness CT.

  99. Post update

It's a good time to be an Aberdeen fan. The Dons have swept all before them in the Premiership so far, sitting top of the table with a perfect seven wins from seven outings. However, Hearts will be a tough nut to crack at Tynecastle and the Jambos enjoy a very good record against today's opponents.

Champions Celtic will hope to get back on track at home to Dundee after last weekend's loss at Pittodrie and must recover quickly from Thursday's 2-2 draw away to Ajax in the Europa League.

Welcome to our match-day coverage, we'll have radio commentary from both games and I'll keep the text updates coming.
