    GB have sent a six-strong team to the championships. The team includes:

  2. Where is it taking place?

    The European Eventing Championships is taking place in Poland for the first time, at Strzegom near Wroclaw.

    77 riders from 19 nations will compete in the European Eventing Championships. These include Michael Jung, the current European champion and number one in the FEI world ranking. He has won medals in eight individual competitions in a row and is the only individual to have been the European, World and Olympic champion simultaneously.

  3. What are the European Eventing Championships?

    The European Eventing Championships is an equestrian event held every two years in which individuals and teams compete for gold, silver and bronze medals.

    The events consist of Dressage, Cross Country and Jumping and the teams/individuals with the highest points, the lowest number of penalty points, receive the medals.

    Today's event is the Cross Country.
