  1. Post update

And that's it for day two!

Myself and Alex will be back from 10:45 BST on Monday to get you through the start of the new working week.

    See you then.

  2. Close of play at Radlett

    Middlesex 203 v Sussex 293 & 33-4

After slumping to 4-4, Sussex's Ben Brown and Delray Rawlins have done well to see out the final half-hour.

They're still in a decent position despite the collapse, leading by 123.

  3. Stumps at Headingley

    Yorkshire 178-6 v Lancashire

That's your lot in Leeds too. Just about Lancashire's day you'd say, but Adam Lyth is still there on 86.

  4. Close of play at Arundel

    Hants v Essex 146-2

A second rain-interrupted day finishes with Essex in a strong position.

Alastair Cook walks off on 75.

  5. Stumps at The Oval

    Surrey 239-7 v Kent 342

Surrey and England keeper Ben Foakes finishes day two on 88.

It's still just about been Kent's day though, especially if they can prize out the last three wickets in the morning.

  6. Close of play at Taunton

    Somerset v Gloucestershire 14-3 (target 385)

The wicket of Tom Lace caps a perfect day for Somerset.

They ran through Gloucestershire this morning to take a first-innings lead of 161.

Tom Abell and Tom Lammonby then both made hundreds to grind the opposition into the dirt and some quick hitting set up an aggressive declaration.

Then three wickets in just eight overs have left the result of this game in absolutely no doubt.

    Lace b Davey 8 (Somerset v Gloucestershire 14-3 - target 385)

    It's happening again.

Given a little period to give it their all with the new ball in the evening gloom, Somerset are making their local rivals look silly again.

Josh Davey with a full inswinger that takes out Tom Lace's leg stump.

  8. Post update

Lots of wickets late in the day...

    Westley c McManus b Crane 18 (Hants v Essex 144-2)

Essex skipper Tom Westley departs as he nicks Hampshire spinner Mason Crane behind.

  10. WICKET

    Thompson b Burrows 4 (Yorks 164-6 v Lancs)

    Yorkshire are six down!

Jordan Thompson attempts to leave a delivery from George Burrows but the ball clatters into the stumps via an inside edge.

  11. Post update

    Hants v Essex 139-1

The runs are flowing for Alastair Cook in the evening sunshine at Arundel.

The Essex opener is now into the 70s and Essex's mission of only batting once in this game looks odds-on.

    Alastair Cook
  12. Sussex slump to 4-4

    Middlesex 203 v Sussex 293 & 4-4

    What's going on?!

Miguel Cummins gets in on the act by removing Sussex opener Aaron Thomason lbw for a duck. Sussex are 4-4!

  13. Close of play at Grace Road

    Leics 222 v Notts 221-2

The light isn't getting any better at Leicestershire and that's it for day two.

  14. Murtagh on fire

    Middlesex 203 v Sussex 293 & 4-3

Tim Murtagh has taken three Sussex wickets inside his first three overs!

Phil Salt, Harry Finch and Tom Clark are the men to go! Incredible scenes late in the day at Radlett.

  15. Close of play at New Road

    Worcs 170-0 v Warks 355-9 dec

What a couple of sessions that was for Pears openers Jake Libby and Daryl Mitchell!

Worcestershire close day two on 170-0, still trailing by 185, but with a real chance of building a big first-innings lead.

Mitchell is unbeaten on 85 and Libby 80.

  16. WICKET

Dent lbw C Overton 4 (Somerset v Gloucestershire 5-2 need 385 to win)

Absolute carbon copy of the first innings here.

Full and straight from Craig Overton to Chris Dent who again falls over and again is plumb lbw.

  17. Post update

    Yorkshire 158-5 v Lancashire

Eight overs to go at Headingley. Can Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth get to his century before stumps?

The left-hander is up to 79. The key will be for him to still be there tomorrow.

  18. WICKET

    Charlesworth c Davies b Davey 1 (Somerset v Gloucestershire 5/1 need 385 to win)

What a snorter from Josh Davey!

This bounces on Ben Charlesworth and he gloves it behind.

    Somerset on their way already.

  19. Elsewhere...

Rikki Clarke has upped the tempo for Surrey by racing to 30. Ben Foakes is on 78 and Surrey are 220-6, trailing Kent by 122.

Sussex have already lost opener Phil Salt to Tim Murtagh in their second innings - they're 4-1 against Middlesex, leading by 94.

Bad light has just stopped play between Leicestershire and Notts with Notts on 221-2, trailing by just a single.

Northants are into the lead against Glamorgan - they're 277-5 and 18 ahead.

  20. for Alastair Cook

    Hants v Essex 114-1

The former England captain brings up his 117th first-class half-century.

You wouldn't bet against the 35-year-old turning it into a 66th hundred at Arundel.
