  1. Post update

    Somerset v Surrey

    And that wraps things up.

Thanks for joining myself and Steve over the past four days.

Six more games get under way on Monday, we'll have live text commentary and ball-by-ball radio coverage then.

Derbyshire against Glamorgan starts a day earlier on Sunday.

    See ya.

    Glamorgan (250 & 481-8 dec) draw with Glos (463 & 137-6)

In fact they won't bother with the final over, the captains shake hands.

Glamorgan briefly threatened to pull off an unlikely victory with a couple of early wickets, but Gloucestershire battened down the hatches.

It's a drawn game at Newport.

  3. Post update

Gloucestershire 137-6 (1 over to go)

Another over with a four and five dots. This time Graeme van Buuren punts a full toss by Marnus Labuschagne through mid-on.

  4. Post update

    Gloucestershire 133-6 (2 overs remaining)

    Close, but it's four.

Ryan Higgins tries to drive Kieran Bull but nicks it past slip.

    That will probably be that.

  5. Post update

    Gloucestershire 129-6 (3 overs remaining)

Graeme van Buuren finishes Marnus Labuschagne's over with a cut in front of point to the boundary. Lovely shot.

  6. Post update

    Gloucestershire 125-6 (4 overs remaining)

Ryan Higgins and Graeme van Buuren are seeing these final few overs out for the visitors with little trouble.

    Four left.

  7. Post update

    Gloucestershire 121-6 (5 overs remaining)

Another over is ticked off. Five to go at Newport.

  8. Post update

    Gloucestershire 120-6 (6 overs remaining)

Balls running out for Glamorgan to take four wickets. Will they accept it's over and and shake hands?

  9. Post update

    Gloucestershire 116-6 (7 overs remaining)

Ryan Higgins edges Marnus Labaschange past the outstretched hand of a diving first slip at a catchable height.

    That's frustrating for Glamorgan.

  10. Post update

    Gloucestershire 108-6 (8 overs remaining)

Four wickets to get for Glamorgan. Ryan Higgins has one from 23 balls, Graeme van Buuren has faced 10 and is yet to score.

    Middlesex (349 & 223) draw with Leicestershire (268 & 226-5)

Rain has ruined what promised to be a fascinating final session at Lord's.

Leicestershire needed 79 off 18 overs when the players came off - Middlesex required five wickets.

Both team have to settle for a draw.

    Colin Ackermann
  12. WICKET

    Roderick c sub (Cullen) b Labuschange 19 (Gloucestershire 107-6)

The jubilant celebrations after that wicket suggest Glamorgan aren't giving up on the win at Newport.

Marnus Labuschange dances a jig after taking the edge of Gareth Roderick with substitute wicketkeeper Tom Cullen taking a very sharp catch standing up to the stumps.

  15. Post update

With this round of the County Championship now winding down, let's have a look at what's coming up next week...

  16. Post update

    Gloucestershire 103-5 (11.2 overs remaining)

There have been 32 successive dot balls since the wicket of Benny Howell.

Glamorgan are running out of time.

  17. Rain stopped play

    Leicestershire 226-5 (target 305)

The umpires have in fact left the field and the rain appears to be getting heavier. I'd expect an announcement very shortly...

  18. Post update

    Leicestershire 226-5 (target 305)

I'm going to throw my hat into the ring here and suggest this game is going to end in a draw.

The hover cover remains firmly in place at Lord's with just over 20 minutes until the scheduled close.

  19. WICKET

    Howell c Lloyd b Bull 44 (Gloucestershire 103-5)

An excellent, low catch by David Lloyd at first slip brings Benny Howell's resistance to an end.

Howell got an edge to off-spinner Kieran Bull and Lloyd sprung into action, diving forward and grabbing it with one hand.

Is there enough time left for Glamorgan? Sixteen overs left today.

  20. Post update

    Gloucestershire 99-4 (17 overs remaining)

After Glamorgan raised hopes of victory, the match at Newport looks to be heading for a draw.

Benny Howell has made 40 not out to steady the ship for Gloucestershire.
