  1. Goodbye!

Right, that's us done for the day.

You can catch up with all the action from Headingley here and the Test Match Special podcast will be available shortly.

We'll be back tomorrow as Pakistan take on Bangladesh - and attempt to qualify for the semi-finals by the tiniest of margins.

    Until then!

  2. Post update

West Indies captain Jason Holder: "It's good to get over the line, we've had some close encounters where we didn't. The batters stepped up today. Evin Lewis and Shai Hope got a good partnership going. 300 on that pitch was good enough to be a winning total. We stayed strong with the ball and came through at the end. Overall at this tournament, inconsistency let us down, in all three departments. Our fielding has to improve a lot."

  3. Post update

Afghanistan captain Gulbadin Naib: "It was a good score batting second, so credit to the batsmen. Ikram showed his class today. We have other talented players back at home. I have learnt a lot at this tournament. Fitness is a big issue - the boys are struggling. Also, we can work more on our skills under pressure."

  4. Post update

What a take this was to finish the match on.

  5. Man of the match

West Indies' Shai Hope: "It was important to get a score on the board. We knew we had decent spinners and we had to back them up. It's nice to finish on a high."

Shirzad leaves having made an impression!

  7. Post update

Afghanistan got closer than I expected, I have to say, but that clatter of wickets in the final 10 overs cost them.

Chris Gayle has defined the modern game of big hitting and flash personalities.

  10. Post update

Gayle gets a huge hug off Gulbadin as the two teams meet on the boundary edge.

Bet he didn't think he'd make more of an impact with the ball than the bat in his final World Cup match...

  11. Post update

Chris Gayle is leading the team off.

Almost 20 years after he made his West Indies debut, he's made his final World Cup appearance.

  12. Post update

    Sir Curtly Ambrose

Former West Indies bowler on BBC Test Match Special

It was a brilliant end to an entertaining match. Most players wouldn't have been bothered to take that catch, but Fabian Allen did. Well done!

What a catch to end on!

That is unreal from Fabian Allen, throwing himself backwards at cover and sticking out his left hand to take a superb grab.
