    Michael Vaughan

Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special

It's not of the highest quality but this is great to watch. Though the batsmen have had to face high-quality bowling.

The ball did enough, there was enough nibble there and England bowled really well.

It felt like England were below par with their 294 but they kept themselves in the game with early wickets once again.

David Warner's wicket was strange but it was another failure for him.

    So much has happened today.

The play started with England still batting. They didn't last very long. The last two wickets only added 23 runs before the hosts were bowled out.

That was really fun. A great day of cricket and it was one of England's best days in the series.

I think we might have another tasty game on our hands.

Great day of Test cricket. Well bowled Jofra Archer. Every session something happened. Brilliant.

    I'm coming back tomorrow!

    Oh dear. Clearly outside leg.

  8. Not out

Comfortably outside leg stump! That's a poor decision.

    Rory Burns survives.

    Jim Maxwell

    BBC Test Match Special

It has hit him high. It may come down to where the ball pitched.

  10. Post update

The Australians are waiting before really celebrating. It is probably hitting the stumps but where has it pitched?

    Phil Tufnell

Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special

That didn't look right at all.

  13. England review

    Burns is given out lbw!

But this surely pitched outside leg?!

    Burns reviews.

  14. Eng 9-0

Loud cheers break out around The Oval as Rory Burns flicks one off his hip for four.

    One ball left...

  15. Post update

That looks painful for Harris. He gave the ground a good beating after the drop as well. He's had to go off.

    Jim Maxwell

He has hurt himself too. He might have dislocated a finger there.

Right in the bread basket...and out again! He didn't pick it up at all.

Australia's Marcus Harris drops a catch on England's Joe Denly
  18. Denly dropped on 0

A life for Joe Denly as Marcus Harris puts down a sitter at gully. It was edged straight to him at chest-height but Harris didn't seem to pick it up out of the shadows.
